  • Patent number: 6727416
Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus tuning and adjusting pianos. It maybe attached to the existing hammer shank and simulates a piano hammer. The present invention's dimensions and angles are adjustable. As the present invention is moved into strike position on the hammer shank, the multiple adjustments allow the piano technician to measure the characteristics needed to achieve the optimal strike point of the string. These measurements can then be used to correctly install the piano hammer and tune the piano.

  • Patent number: 6640525
Abstract: A novel saddle pad will help disburse the pressure over a greater area on the animal's back, thus reducing pressure points and reducing discomfort for the animal. The saddle pad works by providing a bar cutout area that is thinner than the remainder of the saddle pad. Saddle skirts, while somewhat flexible, generally have some rigidity. The saddle is placed over the saddle pad with the tree resting over the thinner, bar cutout area, while the remainder of the saddle skirt rests over the thicker, standard area. The skirt flexes outwardly slightly, but as it resist further outward flexion, there is an equalization of the pressure exerted from the saddle and rider over the entire underside of the saddle rather mainly under the tree. In this manner, downward force is disbursed.

  • Patent number: 6590484
Abstract: The present invention provides for a grounded circulator that is isolated from the environment. Thus, the circulator of the present invention allows circuit board manufacturers to wash the finished, or partially finished, circuit board after the present invention has been attached to the circuit board without damaging the circulators. The present invention does this by incorporating a novel means for grounding the ferrites of the circulator using a grounding foil wrap so that traditional methods for grounding the ferrites which necessitate that the circulator be unsealed, such as screws and use of the circulator cover, are not used. The present invention also provides for communication by the circulator with other electronic components without compromising the isolation of the interior of the circulator through the use of embedded microstrips.

  • Patent number: 6581531
Abstract: The present invention is a hand held, seed planting device for use by individuals. It is comprised of a soil probe for insertion into the earth, a seed feed conduit, and a movable clearing rod that slides through the soil probe. The clearing rod is used to clean the probe and embed the seeds in the earth. An adjustable depth gauge on the probe allows for the consistent, measured insertion of the seeds into the soil without stooping.

  • Patent number: 6578525
Abstract: The present invention relates to a bird cage, more particularly a bird cage in which a perch is rotatably suspended from a ceiling of the bird cage. An alternate preferred embodiment provides for a perch rotatably supported between the ceiling and a floor member of the bird cage. The perch is constructed so that it will rotate about two perpendicular axes.

  • Patent number: 6419182
Abstract: The present invention consists of a rolled wire dispensing unit that incorporates a wheeled cart with a deck, a post generally perpendicular to the deck over which a roll of wire may be placed, and a pivoting front yoke. The yoke is attached to the deck slightly rearward of the front edge of the deck so as to allow the front end of the unit to tilt upward and allow the wire roll to be pulled from the post prior to the wire breaking if the wire becomes overly taut. While the unit will allow the wire roll to pull off if the wire becomes overly tight, the unit uses the wire roll's own weight to maintain a degree of tautness as the wire is dispensed. These improvements benefit the user by providing a convenient wire dispensing tool, that eliminates the inconvenience and danger caused by wire snags.
