Abstract: The invention includes a method for manufacturing a machine foot (1) and a machine foot (1). A machine foot (1) of the present type consists of a spindle (8), which is in the top screwn into the device which is to be supported and is in the bottom fastened to a base part (20). The spindle (8) can be turned in relation to the base part (20) in an angle (10). It is characteristic of the invention that the spindle (8) in the end, which is situated in the base part (20) is enclosed by a ball part (6,7), which consists of an upper part (7) and a lower part (6) and is fastened to the ball part (6,7) by engagement with a locking ring (11) which is also enclosed by the ball part (6,7). The ball part (6,7) is cast into a polymer material (3) whereby the end of the spindle (8) in the base part (20) is efficiently enclosed and closed from access of impurities, filth or bacteria.
Abstract: In a professional hair iron, a unit (U) is defined by a lower support element (2) and an upper support element (3) hinged together and movable between a rest, open position and an operation, closed position. Complementary facing plates (20, 30, 300, 333) are removably fastened to the support elements (2,3). Heating electric resistors (R) are inserted within the plates and at least one plate of the plates (20, 30, 300, 333) has a perforated portion connected to a supply pipe (C) in turn connected to a steam generator (G) to supply steam to the perforated portion so as to moisten a lock of hair laid between the plates fastened to the support elements (2,3).

Abstract: A method for counting and validating discrete articles to be introduced into containers, and an apparatus for actuating the method, which method includes distancing the articles from one another in a thinning-out section, and making the articles cross a detection zone such as to induce a consequent reactance variation in at least a variable reactance sensor. According to a reactance variation, an output signal of the variable reactance sensor takes on a specific waveform, the output signal being sent to an input of a processing unit. The processing unit provides in output data relating to a number of the articles which have passed through the at least a detection zone, a wholeness thereof as well as a passage of objects of a different nature from the articles into the detection zone.

A folding matrix is destined to receive a single sheet of ribbed cardboard supplied by the collecting device. The forming punch is destined to cooperate with the folding matrix in order to fold opposite lateral flaps of the sheet by contact with the folding means. The forming punch is destined to retain the sheet on completion of the folding stage. A transfer device hingedly bearing the forming punch and destined to move the forming punch between the folding station and a release station of the sheet, which sheet is retained in a folded configuration by the forming punch and a packing line of the products.
