  • Patent number: 5103717
Abstract: Baking tongs for producing edible wafers from wafer dough in a wafer baking oven or an automatic wafer baking machine consist of a wafer baking mold comprising baking mold parts in respective tong parts which are moved toward each other and away from each other in order to open and close the wafer baking mold. For a rigid interlocking of the two tong parts when the wafer baking mold is closed, the tong parts are provided with cooperating closure sections. The closure section of one tong part is provided with a rigid locking pin, which protrudes from the inside surface of that closure section. The closure section of the other tong part is formed with a through opening, which constitutes a passage for the locking pin, and is provided with a hook which is engageable with the locking pin. The hook is pivoted on the outside of the closure section and has an engaging surface for engaging an engaging surface of the locking pin. The hook is provided with an actuating element for pivotally moving the hook.

  • Patent number: 5097767
Abstract: The invention relates to a guide nose on a bullet to enable the user to fire wad cutter type ammunition. The guide nose allows the bullet to be used in new automatic weapons and can be easily chambered into the barrel. When the bullet is fired, the plastic nose which is constructed in two pieces separates due to the spinning force of the bullet without effecting the direction of the flat bullet, which continues towards its target. The plastic guide nose will be secured to the bullet nose flat surface. In a preferred embodiment, the two halves snap into each other with a plastic snap joint to further keep the pieces together until the bullet is fired.

  • Patent number: 5062949
Abstract: A screening apparatus comprises an elongated support frame; a mobile, deformable sieve consisting of a sieve mat extending along the length of the support frame and having lateral edges; and a series of alternatingly immobile and mobile sieve mat carriers mounted on the support frame and extending transversely to the length of the support frame, the sieve mat being affixed to the carriers and the mobile carriers being movable with respect to the support frame in the direction of the length of the support frame, the lateral sieve mat edges extending transversely to the carriers and being raised to form rims for the sieve mat.

  • Patent number: 4565965
Abstract: There is provided a method and apparatus for locating leaks in flat roofs, particularly in flat roofs covered with a gravel layer, plants or the like, and wherein it is provided that a moisture location discovered below the flat roof is connected with a positive terminal of a pulse generator, the negative terminal of the pulse generator being connected with a metallic gutter edge of the flat roof, and the flat roof being scanned by measurement sensors for the purpose of measuring the pulses passing through the moisture path to the corresponding leak location and from the leak location through the moist, flat roof. The measurement sensors are connected with a measurement device for measuring the impulse amplitudes, which become successively weaker as they progress from the leak location to the rim of the flat roof.

  • Patent number: 4530257
Abstract: A friction ring gear consisting of at least three driving disks which include axially movable conical disks disposed on a segment of a circle. The driving disks drive a friction ring which engages their wedge-shaped guide surfaces. There is provided a support disk on a floating axle consisting of two axially movable disk halves disposed centrally with respect to the friction ring and surrounded by the driving disks. The support disk engages all wedge-shaped guide surfaces of all driving disks, and if need be is provided with a changeable convex peripheral rim.
