  • Patent number: 8096330
Abstract: Isobaric rotary filling machine for filling containers, has a rotating table supporting a pressurized tank and valve units. Each valve unit has a filling duct for supplying the liquid from the tank to the containers, regulated by a faucet, and an air return pipe associated with a shut-off valve for controlling the pressure balance between the container and the tank. A flushing station, operationally associated with but fixed relative to the rotating table, has a receiving tray connected to a flushing circuit and operable to move between a non-operative position situated outside the travel path of the valve units, and an operative position situated underneath the travel path. The faucets and the shut-off valves open each filling duct and each pipe when the receiving tray is in the operative position and the flushing circuit is connected to the supply line of the tank.

  • Patent number: 8092526
Abstract: Annular cornea implant for inserting into a cornea pocket of the human eye via a narrow, tunnel-shaped access, with the end shape of the cornea implant depending on the shortsightedness or astigmatism to be corrected. The aim of the invention is to enable the cornea implant to be implanted in the cornea pocket in a simple manner and in an optimum position. To this end, the implant has a shape memory which is impressed on the basis of the geometry and/or material of the implant, and is designed in such a way that the deformability from a starting shape enables the insertion of the cornea implant into the cornea pocket via the narrow access, and the cornea implant has an adjustment force in the end shape thereof, which enables an essentially independent unfolding of the cornea implant in the cornea pocket.

  • Patent number: 8087327
Abstract: A pair of tongs with two tong limbs are connected rotatably to each other in a joint in which they are inserted and which has an axially fixed joint pin. The tong limbs are only rotatable with respect to each other. A working region and a handle region are formed in each case on one tong limb. A receiving tong limb is designed with an insertion slot which has a slot width in the region of the joint and through which the other inserted tong limb is inserted. The working regions of the tong limbs have a greater width, at least in part, than the slot width. The handle region of the inserted tong limb has a width and, if appropriate, a thickness which corresponds to the slot width. The handle covering has a reinforcing element.

  • Patent number: 8090410
Abstract: Voice recording used for authentication is transmitted to the voice portal of the service provider not by way of the voice channel, but rather by way of a data channel. In this connection, the voice recording is sent not synchronous to speech and subject to loss, but rather asynchronously and loss-free, in an extra data package (for example advantageously as a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) data package). For this purpose, the resources that are available as standard items in most mobile phone terminals, such as digital voice recording and MMS transmission, can be utilized. Preferably, the subscriber's identification module or SIM card in the mobile phone terminal can store and implement the corresponding control program.

  • Patent number: 8087695
Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile work machine, particularly a concrete pump truck. The work machine comprises a chassis (10) that has at least four wheels (11) that belong to a wheel axle, in pairs. Furthermore, at least two support legs (20) disposed laterally on the chassis, in pairs, are provided, which legs have a telescope segment configured as an extension tube (28) articulated onto the chassis (10), and a foot part (24) that can be extended downward, in telescope-like manner, and supported on the ground, preferably by hydraulic means. In order to guarantee simple handling of the support mechanism, it is proposed, according to the invention, that the extension tube (28) of the support legs (20) is configured in the manner of a two-arm lever, forming a lower lever arm (40), with reference to the pivot axis (34), which contains the foot part (24), and an upper lever arm (42), preferably spring-supported in the pivoting-out direction.

  • Patent number: 8085957
Abstract: The invention relates to electroacoustic engineering, in particular to methods for converting electric signals into acoustic oscillations and to electroacoustic transducers. The method for converting electric signals into acoustic oscillations comprises exposing an oscillating system that is a gas medium pre-structured by a static electric field to an electric/electromagnetic field modulated in strength by an alternating electric signal in accordance with the shape and frequency of the modulating signal, and converting the energy of the field into acoustic energy to be released thereupon into the ambient. An electric gas-kinetic transducer developed to perform this method comprises a dielectric working element and at least two current-conducting plates that can be connected to the pole terminals of a direct voltage source and to a source of alternating electric signals.
