Abstract: Resistive exercise pants optimize resistance and enhance breathability by limiting the number of resistive bands in aligned coordination with the muscles of the leg. Additionally, hand stirrups are set forth that provide better attachment of resistive exercise sleeves to the extremities. In the resistive exercise pants, a single, wide band or two spaced-apart resistive bands generally traverse the length of the leg from the hips to a heel stirrup. Suspenders provide attachment of the resistive exercise pants to the shoulders, thereby holding the length of the body in dynamic tension. In the preferred embodiment, pairs of resistive bands run the length of each pant leg along the front and back in alignment with the leg's long muscles. The front pair of resistive bands bifurcate adjacent the knee to conformedly curve about the calf and to form a heel stirrup with the rear pair of resistive bands.
Abstract: A tool for filing or abrading surfaces or for sharpening instruments such as knives, chisels and the like includes two spaced thin ferromagnetic rails having co-planar upper edges. A magnet is located between the rails with a ferromagnetic plate magnetically held to the rail. The plate has an exposed abrasive coated surface. A first magnetic pole of the magnet concentrates and conducts magnetic flux to the plate through the rails with sufficient force to hold the plate in position against the upper edges of the rails without the need for a retaining cavity to further restrain the plate from moving during use.
Abstract: An aerobic climbing step/bench includes a base in the form of a horizontal platform having a downwardly extending apron. Height adjustability is achieved by the use of detachable legs which are mounted to the base by the interengagement of mounting elements on each leg and complementary mounting elements on the base so that the legs can be slideably engaged in a locking position with the base and slideably detached from the base.
Abstract: A nursing garment preferably in the form of a bra includes at least one cup which fits over a breast of the user. The cup includes a flap for selectively concealing or exposing the breast. When the flap is open the breast is exposed for nursing purposes. A focus pattern is provided on the cup located so that it can be viewed by the infant during nursing.
Abstract: A dispenser for flowable materials, such as toothpaste, includes a hollow barrel in the form of a tube open at its lower end and closed at its upper end with the flowable material being inserted in the tube. A plunger which is also in the form of a hollow tube having a closed upper end, is telescopically arranged in the barrel. A seal is effected by a hinged peripheral rim on the outer surface of the piston near its upper end. The flow of the material forces the peripheral rim to pivot into sealing contact with the inner surface of the barrel.

Abstract: A color photographic recording material having a magenta layer which is prepared from a casting solution containing a 4-equivalent magenta coupler of the pyrazolone series and a thiosulphonic acid ester compound has the properties of 2-equivalent magenta couplers in its coupling reactivity and the properties of 4-equivalent magenta couplers in its speed of color formation.
