Abstract: Wet-processed phosphoric acid is purified by counter-current extraction with the use of an organic solvent, in which water is partially soluble and which is capable of absorbing phosphoric acid, the organic phosphoric acid extract is separated from residual wet-processed phosphoric acid, unabsorbed by the solvent, and phosphoric acid is recovered from the separated organic phosphoric acid extract. More specifically, the wet-processed phosphoric acid is extracted with the use of a solvent containing more than 0 and less than 50% of water, based on the saturation concentration, and a mineral acid in a quantity corresponding to the quantity, in moles, of cation-bound phosphate in the crude acid.

Abstract: .alpha.,.beta.-Ethylenically unsaturated polyesters obtained from dicarboxylic acids and monohydric and dihydric alcohols having acid numbers of 1-50 and hydroxyl numbers of 10-80, 1,5-2,5 mols of dicarboxylic acids and 1,5-2,5 mols of monohydric alcohols having been employed, per mol of diols, in their preparation, are an excellent basis for dispersions containing powdery insoluble substances.

Abstract: The 19-cyano-20-nor derivatives of prostaglandins E.sub.1 and E.sub.2, and certain esters thereof, are bronchodilatory agents, useful in the treatment of bronchial asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia and emphysema. The 19-cyano-20-nor derivatives of prostaglandins E.sub.1 and E.sub.2, and certain esters thereof, which also have protecting groups on the hydroxy groups at C-11 and C-15 are useful intermediates for the preparation of the bronchodilatory agents of this invention.
