Abstract: A system for automatically extracting data from at least one electronic document accessible through the Internet or other computer network. The system records a sequence of actions operable to electronically navigate to a target page of the electronic document, the target page including a plurality of elements each having contents and a structural definition wherein the structural definitions interrelate the plurality of elements to specify a target pattern for a select subset of the plurality of elements. After recording the navigation path and the target pattern, the system automatically accesses the target page according to the recorded sequence. When the target page is accessed, the system automatically identifies, copies and processes selections from the plurality of elements dependent upon the target pattern.

Abstract: A system and method for establishing associative relationships between properties of a contained object and corresponding parameters of a container application. The system contemplates establishment of mutual and unilateral associative relationships, with a particular relationship being specified via a user interface created upon instantiation of the contained object. Such associative relationships may be advantageously established without modification of the code comprising the contained object. In one aspect the system facilitates implementation of selected functionality of a container application prescribed by an event script. In this context an association is created between an event arising within a contained object instantiated in a computing environment and a script associated with the container application. An event indication is generated in response to occurrence of a particular event within the contained object.

Abstract: A method is disclosed herein for compressing spectral data corresponding to an image comprising a plurality of pixels. The method includes the step of creating a set of potential endmembers. A first plurality of the potential endmembers are identified as a first set of endmembers based upon their respective correlations with a first spectral signature of a first of the plurality of pixels. The first pixel is then represented as a combination of the first set of endmembers. Processing of the image preferably continues by identifying a second plurality of the potential endmembers as a second set of endmembers based upon their respective correlations with a second spectral signature of a second of the plurality of pixels. The second pixel is then represented as a combination of the second set of endmembers.
Abstract: An apparatus for pre-distorting a signal includes input nodes to receive an in-phase input signal and a quadrature input signal. Feedback nodes receive an in-phase feedback signal and a quadrature feedback signal. Output nodes transmit an in-phase pre-distorted signal and a quadrature pre-distorted signal. A Lagrange interpolation digital pre-distortion circuit is connected to the input nodes, the feedback nodes, and the output nodes. The Lagrange interpolation digital pre-distortion circuit is configured to perform a Lagrange interpolation on the in-phase input signal, the quadrature input signal, the in-phase feedback signal, and the quadrature feedback signal to produce the in-phase pre-distorted signal and the quadrature pre-distorted signal.
