Abstract: A computerized system deters theft of a vehicle where a subscriber maintains a remote computer terminal. A web host is connected to a wide area web network and includes a computer readable medium. A location unit is carried by the vehicle and calculates the location of the vehicle at any given time and transmits a low power digital location data packet having location data. A computer program has instructions embodied in computer readable code on the web host and receives a tracking request from a subscriber and transmits a tracking call to the location unit. The low power digital location data packet is transmitted from the location unit and represents the current position of the vehicle.

Abstract: This invention is directed to a remote press proofing system having the camera or cameras for digitizing the image of a press proof, for example, transmitting the digital image to a printer's terminal, color correcting the digital image, transmitting the image to a client's site also having a color correct monitor, so that the client may be view a color corrected digital image of a physical press proof sheet in order to approve whether the quality and color of the sample is sufficient without having to physically travel to the printer's location.

Abstract: The invention is directed to an animal carrier for use inside and outside of vehicles which comprises a cage-like enclosure having a top, a front, a rear, and a pair of sides intersecting with at least the front and a carriage for supporting the enclosure having a bottom, a front, a rear, and a pair of sides intersecting with at least the rear. Attachment members removably connect the cage with the carriage. At least one wedge is secured with the carriage rear and is adapted to be engaged with a seat belt of the vehicle for removably securing the carrier within the vehicle.

Abstract: This invention is a fishing rod holder mount comprising a base unit which can be secured or affixed to a supporting surface such as the upper rail or gunwale of a boat; a shaft which is received by the base unit and therefore secured to the supporting surface; and an interlocking mechanism between the base and shaft which prevents the shaft and therefore the fishing rod holder from rotating about the shaft axis. The fishing rods held by the fishing rod holder are prevented from rotating across the boat or supporting surface. Therefore, the fishing rod is prevented from striking a boat occupant, tangling with other rods or objects, and prevented from complicating reeling in of a fish.

Abstract: A multiplex system is disclosed for maintaining the temperature of a product during a warehouse and distribution process employing a vehicle. The multiplex system may include a plurality of temperature control zones at which it is desired to maintain the temperature of the product. A cargo temperature control zone includes a parking area for a number of delivery vehicles having cargo containers. A primary refrigeration system is utilized to refrigerate a secondary fluid which is a non-compressible fluid that may be pumped over long distances to the cargo temperature control zone, as well as other temperature control zones. The secondary refrigerated fluid is pumped to air handling units which are advantageously disposed is heat exchange relationships to create and deliver refrigerated air into the cargo container of one or more parked delivery vehicles.

Abstract: Water-soluble or water-dispersible and curable polyester resins are suitable as binders in various applications, The resins are reaction products of polyterephthalate, polyols, polyacids, end acids and crosslinking agents. The waste terephthalates can be utilized when making the binders of the present invention. The preferred polyol is pentaerythritol. The resins can be used as binder for glass fiber insulation products.

Abstract: A finishing composition and method for applying the composition to a fabric woven from glass fibers or from a blend of glass fibers and other fibers such as polyamide or polyester. Such finishes significantly enhance the flex life of woven glass fabrics by improving the acid and alkali corrosion resistance of the fibers. The finish, which comprises fluoropolymer and epoxy resin, can be loaded into the fabric in multiple baths. Filtration products can be fabricated from the finished fabrics and they are especially useful for making filter bags used in the bag houses for central power generating stations and similar industries.

Abstract: A method for increasing the dissipation of heat from one portion of a surface when heat is applied to another portion of the same surface. The preferred composition is a gel or paste with high water content and a thickener of a mineral clay in a colloidal suspension. The invention finds particular use in welding and soldering processes which are carried out adjacent heat sensitive materials.

Abstract: A breast enhancing brassiere is disclosed comprising a pair of laterally spaced breast cups joined together by a center section. At least one shoulder strap is connected to each breast cup. Inner cups for receiving the breasts included in each breast cup having an integral layer of padding. Outer cups are carried adjacent the inner cups having an integral layer of padding. A curved reinforcing element carried along lower and edges of the breast cup lifting the inner and outer cups when the brassiere is worn and the shoulder straps are in a properly adjusted position. Means are providing for securing the inner and outer cups together at selected areas. Upper free edges of the inner and outer edges are unattached to permit relative movements of the free edges during adjustment of the shoulder straps so that the inner cups remain firmly against the breast to enhance breast cleavage appearance while the outer cups provide a fuller breast appearance.

Abstract: A portable engine hoist which folds into a compact storage position. The base of the hoist is equipped with two support wheels. Two elongated legs extend from the base and are adapted to receive leg extensions. The leg extensions are provided with wheels at one end and the other end can be inserted into a leg. An upright post extends from a base support and carries a pivotally mounted lifting beam at its top end. A mechanical or hydraulic jack operates to raise and lower the lifting beam to raise and lower an engine. Position adjustment and maintenance means for easy assembly of the leg extensions are provided. A cam slot locking means associated with the lifting beam provides stability under the load.

Abstract: A resilient base flooring for assembly on a base surface having a plurality of sub-floor panels carried above the base surface in substantial side-by-side and end-to-end arrangement to form a base floor having continuous uninterrupted surfaces. A plurality of flooring boards are secured with and are arranged to extend transversely of the sub-floor panels to define an integral flooring system. Resilient members are disposed between the sub-floor panels and the base surface to provide resilient support for the integral flooring. A first limit bar is connected with the base surface and a second limit bar is supported by an inner surface of the sub-floor panels. The limit bars have overlying edges which interact beneath the lower surface of the sub-flooring panels to limit vertical movement of the integral flooring.

A horizontal panel is pivotally carried by the back panel and a vertical case panel is pivotally carried by one of the back panel for forming a utility case with one of the first and second side panels. Cabinet panels for forming a utility cabinet within the interior of the hutch include a vertical cabinet panel pivotally carried by one of the back panel and the horizontal panel, and a horizontal cabinet panel pivotally carried by the vertical cabinet panel.

Gelling times and viscosities are improved through the use of an enhancer which is, preferably, an oxyalkylated amine or a blend of an oxyalkylated amine with another amine or a non-nitrogen-containing component. Preferred phosphate esters are ether phosphate esters.

Abstract: A kit for a knockdown greenhouse which is easy to assemble and ship in a conventional parcel service container is disclosed which includes a plurality of base strips for forming a rectangular base frame having first and second parallel side base members and first and second end base members. The base strips have a length generally equal to or less than the length of the container. First and second side base members have a series of anchors spaced along a length of the base members. A plurality of elongated bendable rib sections are included having a length generally less than the length of the container. Couplings are provided for joining ends of a predetermined number of the arch sections together generally end to end to form an arch-shaped rib whereby a plurality of arch-shaped ribs may be constructed. The arch-shaped ribs have first and second anchor ends which are interconnectable with the anchors of side base members to position the arch-shaped ribs upright.

A waste removal duct is arranged adjacent the periphery of the cylinder. A mote knife, which includes a contact surface positioned adjacent the periphery of the cylinder, a front edge located a first distance from the periphery of the cylinder, an intermediate edge located a second distance from the periphery of the cylinder and a rear edge located and a third distance from the periphery of the cylinder. A first channel is formed between the periphery and the front and intermediate edges which converges toward the intermediate edge. A second channel is formed between the periphery and the intermediate and rear edges which diverges toward the rear edge. Rotation of the cylinder creates a venturi effect at the intermediate edge which brings the flow of binary air to its greatest velocity.

Abstract: A putting trainer for assisting a golfer perfect his address, the address of the putter, and the putting stroke. The trainer is designed for use on a support surface with a golf ball and a putter. The trainer includes a pair of spaced base members carrying a pair of parallel longitudinally positioned curtains which are arranged perpendicular of a target and in an elevated position which is slightly greater than the height of the ball and the putter blade. The curtains are laterally spaced a distance which is slightly greater than the width of the ball. A guide, which is parallel with the curtains and laterally spaced therefrom a distance equal the distance between the heel and the sweet spot of the putter, is adjustably secured with the base members. In use, with the ball placed between and beneath the curtains with the blade beneath and perpendicular of the curtains, the sweet spot adjacent the ball, and the heel in engagement with said guide.

Abstract: A method of labeling reusable containers is disclosed. A placard having a release coating on one side is adhesively secured to the container. The placard is transparent with instructional printing applied to one surface. Pressure-sensitive labels are placed on the exposed surface of the placard. The labels contain indicia relating to the status of the container. When the status of the container changes, the label is removed and a new label is substituted on the placard.
