Abstract: Generally, a method of pressure regulated supercritical fluid fractionation of oil seed extraction materials which can be utilized to refine oil seed extraction material established in an amount of supercritical fluid. Specifically, a method of pressure regulated supercritical fluid fractionation of corn germ extraction material to produce a refined corn oil extraction material.
Abstract: A handle which provides a shaft coaxially rotatably engaged to a first bearing element and a second bearing element which attaches to a corresponding one of the opposed ends of a cable means.
Abstract: An IVF system for successfully utilizing spermatozoa separated into X-chromosome bearing and into Y-chromosome bearing population for insemination. The IVF system includes fertilization medium that can shorten the time from insemination to cleavage and a portable incubator for the transportation of maturing oocytes and inseminated oocytes comprising a straw (19) and an incubation element (20) that can be sealed with a cap (22).

Abstract: A marine stern drive and multi-speed transmission propulsion system in which a transmission, either manual or automatic, is interposed between the engine and stern drive extending at least partially outboard of the transom. A stern drive extension housing enclose the outboard transmission. The various embodiments may include automatic shifting, torque-absorbing couplings, dry oil sump and misalignment couplings. The system may be provided as an OEM item or as a retrofit and allows the engine to be maintained in its normal or original position thus enhancing the performance characteristics of the boat. The stern drive has forward, reverse and neutral shifting capabilities.
Abstract: High resolution particle differentiation process and separation system that provides enhanced resolution of particles based upon selected particle characteristics. In particular, the system may include an enhanced resolution flow cytometer. In an embodiment, the invention can include at least one fluid source conduit (24) that introduces 0 fluid source stream (24) into an enhanced resolution nozzle (25) at an angle that enhances particle resolution by the cell sensing system (13).
Abstract: Various optical apparatus, in particular embodiments, may provide a source of parallel light (7, 75). The parallel light (7, 75) may be generally achieved by directing an incident beam at the apex of a prism (1, 22, 24, 26, 28). The prism may have varying configurations. One configuration has a forward conical face (24). Another configuration has a pyramidal forward end (22). Other configurations are also disclosed. Various optical methods and methods for flow cytometry are also disclosed.
