Abstract: A method and device for providing brochures to interested parties using cellular communication devices such as cellular telephones, cellular enabled digital devices and the like. An access number which may be contacted by a cellular communication device is provided in an advertisement of an item, the access number being a short code, telephone number or the like. An active seeker device continuously receives messages sent to the access number, then a database of information is consulted and an informational message sent to the caller. The informational message may be an SMS text message, a photograph of the item, an opt-in message to receive further information, and combinations thereof. Items may include any object or estate commonly advertised for sale or lease, such as real estate, vehicles, consumer products and the like.

Abstract: A two-liquid absorption refrigerator or space cooler of the cyclic type uses a spiral shaped Bourdon Tube as the refrigerant gas generator, with the lower end of the spiral disposed at a heat source. The generator may also function as the absorber vessel, thus greatly simplifying the operation of the device. In use, when ammonia depletion during the cooling cycle allows the generator to heat, it moves its lower end to a position removed from the heat source and begins to cool, thus allowing a charging cycle to replenish ammonia into the absorption liquid (usually water) in the generator. The device may thus function with only one moving part and without electricity, and further without control over the heating source.

Abstract: A vehicle or stationary liquid, water or oil tank heater teaches that a hot fluid may be passed through a metal body placed in the water piping or in the vacuum piping, thereby melting any ice in the system and preventing further freezing. The system may be advantageously used with manifolds, valves, scrubbers, pipes or the water tank itself. The coolant flow path may be optimized for ease of production and/or efficient heat transfer. The invention may be used with an external source of hot liquid, or it may be used with a cuff which may slipped over any of a variety of devices in need of de-icing.

Abstract: A mystery role playing game system optimized for children suitable in terms of level of difficulty for all participants; that does not require any participant to play the role of a criminal and/or “bad guy”, that allows responsible supervision of the course of the game, that provides positive social rewards to a selected individual (for example a particular child whose birthday party is the occasion for the game), that provides a carefully structured format for progression of the game, and which includes one or more modest “physical” challenges such as hunts for treasure and/or clues. A central “detective” character may supervise other player's rounds, and non-player supervisors may also supervise revelation of each character's clues. Non-player characters may take the negative roles (such as suspects), and the central character may have sufficient information to solve the mystery at the end of the game.

Abstract: A crop chaffer for combines features air jets which deliver an air blast to the grain and chaff. The air jets and sifting screens are arranged in a cross sectionally “stair step” pattern in which the tread of each stair is the screen and the riser of the each stair has the air jet located thereon. The air jets do not allow grain passage, while the apertures in the screens do not produce a strong current of air. The chaffer is divided into individually separable and replaceable elements, thus greatly easing the burden of changing chaffers in the combine.

The tungsten precursor may be tungsten oxide, ammonium paratungstate, ammonium metatungstate or other precursor or combination of tungsten precursors. A wide range of production methods may be employed, including but not limited to liquid resin casting.

Abstract: A removable liner for the flexible conversion of a car, van or minibus into a robust all-purpose carrier. The entire space available within the vehicle for load transportation is hermetically encapsulated by being lined with an abrasion-resistant, particularly lightweight and elastic material specifically developed for this purpose. The liner consists of a floor having adjoining side parts to half the height of the interior space of the vehicle, the roof lining with adjoining side parts to half the height of the interior space of the vehicle and the front and rear flaps. The liner can be folded together, the side parts first being folded together onto the floor from left and right. The roof lining then automatically lies on the side parts. The front and rear flaps close off the folded-together container, so that a lightweight, compact and portable package is formed.

Abstract: An improved mail box signal comprises a case having a slide disposed therein. A catch on the slide engages a detent on the case interior and the slide hangs suspended from the detent when the case is in a substantially vertical orientation. When the case is rotated forward to a substantially horizontal position, the catch and detent disengage, freeing the slide to fall when the case is returned to the vertical. In embodiments, the device may allow the slide to partially project from the bottom of the case or may allow the slide to fall from the case, and/or hang suspended by a tether.

Abstract: The present invention teaches a waste container, especially a roll-off waste container, having a gate at one end, a waste transfer system to push wastes within the container out the gate, and lifting devices which raise the container to approximately the level of a garbage truck's hopper. The hopper may be the fixed rear hopper of a rear-load truck or a special container for a front load truck. The present invention furthermore teaches a new system for waste handling. Wastes are placed into a container, the container is raised, and the wastes are transferred to a garbage truck. The present invention may be used industrially, in construction, in residential settings, and commercially. The invention may be opened at sides or tops to meet the user's waste disposal needs, and may be connected to a building by a trash chute as is commonly used in compactor applications.

Abstract: The STAR PLAYING CARDS were designed for a New Appearance and to change the way conventional Card Games are played resulting in stimulating interest and excitement. They consist of New Celestial Bodies suits each being a different Color. The Suits are named: Stars, Blue Color; Moons, Red color; Novas, Green Color; and Clouds, Gold Color. There are four “X” Cards in each Deck and each is a different Color to match each Suit. Both the Facesides and Backsides are totally New Designs. The Characters are alpha-numeric with 8 Numbers “2” thru “9” and 6 Letters “E” thru “A” and “X”. Total Card quantity in each deck is 56. The Facesides display a complete Circle Run showing how the Letters join the Numbers and the rank of each Character. Abstract: A method and apparatus for low cost, convenient prospecting and surveys of subsurface structures using seismoelectric signals, as well as laboratory analysis of geological samples. The seismoelectric signals come from seismic waves generated by sources which can be applied or natural. The seismoelectric signals are generated with the same velocity and frequency of the generating seismic waves, then induce secondary electromagnetic signals which travel at their own much higher speed. The seismoelectric signals thus may be measured with electrodes or antennas. Electrodes may be disposed within a borehole or on the surface. The method allows use of geophone data, but does not require it. The it source of the seismoelectric signals, being a moving seismic wave front, conveys continuous, whole body information on the structures underground, in much the same way as seismic ware data, but in the form of simpler, easier to capture seismoelectric signals. Reflection and refraction of seismic waves can be ascertained.
