Abstract: The technology described herein provides a keyless entry system and associated method for fleet vehicle management. Secure keyless entry is provided to a user for a vehicle in the fleet vehicle management environment without the user having possession of a vehicle key or a vehicle key fob to gain entry to the vehicle. Additionally, in various embodiments, this technology provides a personalized, programmable access device carried by a user desiring access to a particular locked vehicle in a fleet vehicle management environment, an access control device configured to access electronically an on-board vehicle keyless entry system, and an access chip module electronically attached to the access control device and configured to activate the on-board vehicle keyless entry system and thereby unlock the particular locked vehicle. Furthermore, this technology provides a system with local management, reporting, audit trails, wireless connectivity to each access control device, and self-testing.

Cosmetic preparations comprising a 2,2-dimethyl chroman as a SOD mimetic are described, as well as methods for treating or preventing free radical damage to skin cells and treating or preventing hair loss which comprise topical administration of a 2,2-dimethyl chroman as a SOD mimetic.

Abstract: The technology described herein provides a portable, collapsible, and multifunctional pediatric transporter. The pediatric transporter provides walker, stander, sitting chair, stroller, and wheelchair functionality. The pediatric transporter includes frame members joined each to the other forming a frame, non-swiveled, and swiveled wheels, handlebars disposed upon the frame, a handgrip disposed upon each handlebar, a removable, storable seat, a support bar configured to support the seat when the seat is in use and being a handle bar for a standing child when the seat is not is use, a removable, storable standing platform, hinges disposed upon the frame to provide foldability, collapsibility, and portability of the pediatric transporter, and a lever configured to be depressed single-handedly to collapse the pediatric transporter.

Abstract: The technology described herein provides for the creation of an atmospherically-lifted multi-tethered structure in a semi-stationary position in the atmosphere, which supports cabled cargo handling operations within the three-dimensional space beneath the structure, allowing cargo loads to move directly from source to destination in that same space (between the ground and the atmospherically-suspended structure itself). The design combines a highly configurable aerial platform with the usefulness of complex cargo transportation systems to enable transit both at high speeds over long distances, and at low speeds on the localized level. Constant atmospheric lift from buoyancy and wind effects allows for a flexible transportation infrastructure over a broad three-dimensional area.

Abstract: A gutter system is provided to guard a gutter from the entry of leaves, debris, pine needles, twigs, and the like, and to prevent water and animals from entry. In at least one embodiment, a hanger bracket is configured to secure a gutter to a building, and configured to secure an upper gutter cover and a lower gutter cover, in a tiered, stair-step manner, to the gutter. In another embodiment a gutter system is provided that includes a gutter, an upper gutter cover, a lower gutter cover, and a hanger bracket configured to secure the gutter to a building having a roof and rainwater runoff, and configured to secure the upper gutter cover and the lower gutter cover, in a tiered, stair-step manner, to the gutter. In yet another embodiment a method for protecting gutters from debris other than rainwater runoff is provided.

Abstract: The technology described herein provides an odorless and overflow-less toilet system. The technology provides for the removal of odor at its source and aids in overflow protection. The technology provides a toilet system having a second chamber running in fluid communication with a first chamber and a second exit port to allow for the continuation of the second chamber flow to a trap assembly. The trap assembly is configured to separate exhaust odors and overflows. The trap assembly prevents sewage gasses from escaping back through the toilet. The trap assembly allows overflows to be routed back to a sewage out line. The trap assembly provides for the flow of odors from the toilet with an inline exhaust fan. The inline exhaust fan pulls odors from the toilet through the second chamber and exit port of the toilet through the trap assembly and then through the inline exhaust fan to exit.

In at least one embodiment, the bag includes at least one sheet of flexible material assembled to form a semi-enclosed container, an opening within the semi-enclosed container defined by a generally circular periphery of the semi-enclosed container at an unenclosed end of the at least one sheet of flexible material, and a flexible support rim disposed around the generally circular periphery of the semi-enclosed container at an unenclosed end. The support rim is sufficient to support the opening within the semi-enclosed container in an open position.

Abstract: A dual action recumbent exercise cycle which provides upper body, lower body and cardiovascular conditioning with emphasis directed toward the needs of obese individuals as well as individuals with equilibrium issues such as Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke. The apparatus includes a multi-configurable seat which is horizontally displaced from the foot pedal and handlebar assemblies. A vaned wheel rotatably mounted on the frame and arranged to absorb energy by movement of the broad surfaces of the vanes against the surrounding body of air. A derailleur mechanism is provided for additional options of resistance intensity. Rotation of the wheel is effected through a pair of foot pedals and connected chain and sprocket/hub mechanism and/or through a pair of handlebar assemblies. The handlebar assemblies each include a pivotal spring housing mechanism which enables the handlebars to be both retractable and variable in their positioning to the user.

Abstract: The technology described herein provides a device and associated methods for storing, displaying, and shaping hats, caps, or the like. This device includes multiple rings of the same diameter and multiple rings of varied diameters to provide for the storing and displaying of a multiplicity of hats while simultaneously maintaining the curvature of the brim portion of the hat. This device provides for the training of the brim of a hat to a particular degree of curvature as desired by the wearer and as selected from the multiple rings of varied diameters of the device. Other comparable uses are also contemplated herein, as will be apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art.
