Abstract: A device for leveling a plug receiving receptacle in an electric outlet box is disclosed which comprises a surface having spaced apart opposing male bar prongs arranged along generally parallel axes extending about perpendicular from the surface, arranged to insert into corresponding female bar slots of an electric plug receiver and level means, arranged to indicate horizontal and vertical level of an axis perpendicularly intersecting the parallel bar prong axes.
Abstract: A capacitor of hybrid construction is disclosed comprising a single cathode and multiple anode combination utilizing a variety of anode foils selected for their ability to achieve optimal performance in selected areas of the construction of a spiral would capacitor and blended in a fashion to create maximum energy density and minimum open space. In addition, a method is claimed for reducing open space left by a mandrel in producing spiral wound capacitors.

Abstract: The present invention comprise a swim fin having an internal propulsion system, wherein the fin is secured to the wearer by a boot configured to surround the foot and ankle of the wearer resisting flexure of the ankle, the fin is integrally molded to the boot and comprises an integral, longitudinally extending tubular passageway having an inlet adjacent about the toe end of the boot and an outlet arranged at about the remote end of the fin, and the tubular passageway contains a motor driven shaft having a propeller arranged to rotate and forcibly push fluid entering the inlet of the passageway through the outlet thereof.
Abstract: A cushion wheel assembly having a central hub coaxially surrounded by a resilient circular ring which is coaxially surrounded by a pneumatic tire on a mounting rim. The components are arranged so that axial compression of the resilient ring locks the components of the assembly into a cohesive unit, which is easily assembled and disassembled for convenient mounting to a vehicle and/or repair of high wear components.
Abstract: A novel spiral membrane arrangement is disclosed comprising opposing elongate filtration membrane units, spiraled about a base axis and separated by a novel lattice separator having spaced apart elongate primary laths which form fluid passageways, bridged by cross laths arranged to form a plurality of fluid shears spaced along the passageways which divide, deflect and/or disrupt gross fluid flow through the passageway, directing fluid against the membrane surface and creating a self cleaning functionality which improves the efficiency and the life of the life of the membrane arrangement.

The method and apparatus are particularly suitable for use in packing capillary columns having an interior diameter of about 500 microns or less.

Abstract: A high output transmission is made for increasing speed and torque from an engine or motor. It includes a planetary drive for gradually increasing speed output, a speed reducer for increasing torque output, and a friction brake which gradually slows and stops a wheel member of the planetary drive. The planetary drive wheel member is gradually slowed and stopped so that the planetary drive input to output speed ratio is increased starting from a 1 to 1 speed ratio. As the braking force is gradually increased power output is transmitted starting with a slow speed with high torque to a fast speed with lower torque and when the braking force is decreased power output resumes to a slow speed with high torque while the engine or motor can run at a set or constant speed. A clutch means is included in the transmission by the on/off action of the brake thereby providing a clutch and continuously variable transmission or CCVT.
Abstract: This invention relates to an improved puller, wherein notch and slot means are arranged for adjustably engaging a mating slot and shoulder of gripping jaws to provide improved resistance to wear and misalignment through use, and reversible jaws enable adaption of use to removal of seals and the like from housings.

Abstract: A multiple anode capacitor (10) having offset terminal leads or strips which maximizes capacitance achieved per volume occupied by the capacitor. More specifically, the invention including a multiple anode aluminum electrolytic capacitor including a cylindrical casing (42), a header (45) crimped to the open end of the casing, the header including a primary anode terminal (41) and a primary cathode terminal (44). Disposed within the casing is a wound or coiled capacitor body (28) having plural anode foils (11, 12, 13), a capacitor foil (14), and dielectric paper separator layers (15, 16) disposed between the cathode and the anodes. In a preferred embodiment, three juxtapositioned anode foils are used, the foils being made from a high purity porous aluminum foil. In addition, each of the dielectric paper separator layers is formed of two kraft capacitor tissue papers (15a, 15b, 16a, 16b).
