Abstract: A process for forming a colloid relief image on a substrate, comprising the steps of: (a) exposing to actinic light a sheet structure comprising a substrate having coated on one surface thereof a first layer comprising a colloid material capable of being tanned when contacted by oxidized silver halide developer, and coated over the first layer a second layer comprising a photographic silver halide emulsion, the emulsion containing substituted gelatin which is substantially resistant to tanning by the oxidized silver halide developers; (b) developing exposed sheet structure with oxidizable silver halide developers; and (c) washing the sheet structure with warm water, whereby all of the second layer is removed together with portions of the first layer which have not been tanned.

Abstract: Silicone-coated release liner which, even after exposure to light in the presence of moisture, heat or both, displays release properties of less than 20 g/cm width with respect to pressure-sensitive adhesive tape. The coating contains noble metal, and the silicone polymer has substantially no residual ethylenic unsaturation. The silicone polymer is prepared by pre-reacting polydimethyl siloxane with a noble metal catalyst before adding polymethylhydrosiloxane crosslinker.

Abstract: Liquid level sensing circuitry useable for detecting the presence of an acceptable or unacceptable level for a liquid, such as engine oil. Prior to termination of the operation of the engine, the circuitry presents an unacceptable level indication at a control point. After completion of a time delay following termination of engine operation, an acceptable level must be presented for a time to cause an acceptable level indication at the control point which is maintained pending initiation of engine operation. Upon initiation of engine operation a first discernible indication is provided for a time period if the control point presents an unacceptable level indication with a second discernible indication provided for such time period if the control point presents an acceptable level indication.

Abstract: A method of transferring indicia from a first support base, such as a paper sheet, which is coated with a release agent, to a receiver surface, such as a wall or window. An adhesive surface is pressed against the first support base in order to transfer the indicia from the first support base to the adhesive surface. The adhesive bearing the indicia is then applied to a receiver surface to provide the receiver surface with a protected image. Preferably the indicia is a fused xerographic image and the release agent coated on the first support base is a unique radiation-curable fluorine-containing abherent coating composition.
