Abstract: A device used to facilitate the insertion of objects under a folded roof in the boot of a motor vehicle. The roof includes a rear element which is equipped with a finger bar that is designed to slide along a rail comprising a storage section, which is intended to guide the roof between a deployed position and a folded, stored position, and a raised section, which is intended to guide said roof between a folded, stored position and a folded, raised position. The device comprises a raising member which moves the above-mentioned finger along the length of the raised section. Moreover, a locking member is mounted to the raising member between an unlocked position and a locked position in which it blocks the auxiliary roof element in relation to the rear element when the roof is moved toward the folded, raised position thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a protective device (8) comprising a panel (9) forming the vertical limit between a protected zone (10) of the rear boot (2) used to receive the objects (7) and accessible when the rear boot (2) is open from the rear forward, and a second zone (11) of the rear boot (2) used to receive the roof (1) in a folded, stored position and located above the protected zone (10), the panel (9) being moveable between a low protecting position and a high protecting position. The invention is characterised in that the panel (9) co-operates with a first sensor (14) to prevent the roof (1) from being folded when the panel (9) is above the low protecting position, and with a second sensor (15) to prevent the boot (2) from being closed when the panel (9) is above the high protecting position.

Abstract: A rear boot (3) hood (4), for a convertible vehicle (1) swivels in relation to the bodyshell, via a first assembly element (13) capable of engaging in a detachable manner into a second assembly element (14) linked to the bodyshell. First and second runner surfaces (13a, 14a, 16c and 17a) work together at the end of the swivel movement of the hood. Means for locking/unlocking comprising first and second means for engaging (16 and 17) lock the hood in relation to the bodyshell. According to the invention, the first and second means for engaging (16 and 17) respectively have between them first and second contact surfaces with co-operative shapes, so that for at least the main part of its stroke, said first means for engaging (16) applies a substantially constant pressure on the corresponding second means for engaging (17).

Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for initializing a database used with an issue tracker. The issue tracker receives information relating to a plurality of issues from a plurality of users, displays the information relating to the issues, and allows the browsing of the information relating to each of the issues. To initialize the database, the information relating to the issues is stored in a first database. A second database is also provided that stores tables including: a plurality of user interfaces; and/or application logic for accessing the information in the first database. The tables of the second database are reconfigured upon migrating the first database from a first folder to a second folder.

Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for maintaining application consistency. First, a table of codes and associated text phrases are provided. Such table of codes is stored on a local storage medium within an e-commerce computer architecture. Next, the table of codes is accessed on the local storage medium within the e-commerce computer architecture. One of the text phrases is subsequently retrieved by selecting a corresponding one of the codes of the table. During operation, modification of the text phrases associated with each of the codes of the table is permitted. A plurality of services are executed, including retrieving a single one of the text phrases, retrieving all of the text phrases in response to a single command, updating a single code and text phrase combination, updating all of the code and text phrase combinations, naming the table, adding a new code and text phrase combination, removing one of the code and text phrase combination, and adding another table.

Abstract: A system, method and article of manufacture are provided for providing an interface between a first server and a second server with a proxy component situated therebetween. Initially, a request for a business object is identified by an application on the first server. The first server is then connected to the second server. Next, selection criteria from the first server is transmitted to the second server. In response to the selection criteria, the first server receives a first recordset and a second recordset from the second server. Business data is included in the first recordset and result codes are included in the second recordset. The first and second recordsets are mapped to the business object and the business object is sent to the application on the first server.

A prefix and/or a suffix is added to each exception interface name for indicating that the exception interface is an exception. Streaming of the exception is allowed to a common interface. An error message is outputted indicating that an exception error has occurred.

Multiple business objects are retrieved across a network in one access operation. Retrieved data is mapped into objects. Then a warning is provided upon retrieval of objects missing at least one attribute. The warning includes information on how to handle the at least one missing attribute.

Abstract: According to a broad aspect of a preferred embodiment of the invention, telephone calls, data and other multimedia information is routed through a hybrid network which includes transfer of information across the internet utilizing telephony routing information and internet protocol address information. A fault management solution is provided for the challenges of monitoring service elements for faults and degradation in performance in a hybrid network. Event gathering is performed by software interfaces which communicate directly with the network elements. Correlation is provided by use of a rules based inference engine.

Abstract: A system is provided for building systems in a development architecture framework. The present invention is directed to both a system to be built and an implementation strategy to fulfill system requirements. Software components of the system are encapsulated with wrappers. The wrappers are adapted to be changed upon other software components of the system being changed while the encapsulated software components of the system remain unchanged.
