Abstract: A tooth polishing agent for effectively removing stains such as tobacco tar and tartar with the use of a toothbrush and gentle brushing, using only a small amount of the tooth polishing agent. The improved tooth polishing agent of the present invention generates negative ions in the mouth, effectively cleaning the teeth without the use of large amounts of abrasives or aggressive brushing. The negative ions also act to improve circulation of the blood in the gums and prevent gum disease. The tooth polishing agent of the present invention is constituted with the powdered form of a multi-element mineral, which negatively ionizes water. This multi-element mineral contains a balance of elements, including silica-like perlite, pitchstone and tourmaline.

Abstract: A method for reconfiguration of a disk drive array is provided. For the method of the present invention, an array controller in a disk drive array examines the original configuration of the disk drive array (the source configuration) and the desired configuration (the destination configuration). Based on this examination, the array controller determines if the reconfiguration process may be optimized. To optimize the reconfiguration process, the array controller determines if a combination of changes to system parameters and possible rebuilding operations can replace the migration process. If this is possible, the reconfiguration process is modified to eliminate data migration. Otherwise, data migration is performed. In this way, the present invention provides a method that dramatically increases the speed of reconfiguration for some source and destination configurations.
Abstract: A soldering iron device has a gas passage formed by enclosing a soldering iron tip 3 of an electric soldering iron with double pipes 6 and 7 to make a nozzle. By providing projections A, B and C in the spacing between said double pipes, the double pipes are prevented from any eccentricity and biasing, and the velocity of an inert gas G to be supplied is made slow to ensure that the gas is jet through the nozzle tip end. Further, engulfing of oxygen in the atmospheric air can be suppressed, whereby it is possible to prevent defective wetting of solder due to high temperature oxidation of the soldering iron tip and to suppress high temperature oxidation of workpieces and flux cored solder alloy and flux, and excellent solderability is obtained.
Abstract: An emergency signaling device for the hearing impaired provides a strobe light in which the intensity of the emitted light is variable. The emergency signaling device comprises a housing and a reflecting mirror coupled to the housing. A strobe light emitting device adapted to provide a sequence of flashing light is disposed in relation to the reflecting mirror so that the light is distributed in a predetermined pattern. The intensity level emitted by the strobe light emitting device may be varied between at least a first intensity level and a second intensity level. The reflecting mirror provides a polar light distribution of the flashing light. The rate of flashing of the strobe light emitting device may be synchronized with other emergency signaling devices.
