  • Patent number: 8007139
Abstract: The present invention relates to an optical illumination module that includes a fixed light source and a plano-convex lens. The fixed light source is a light emitting diode. The plano-convex lens is an aspheric lens with rotational symmetry, and disposed to a specific distance of an optical axis of the fixed light source. The specific distance is greater than or equal to 13.5 millimeter, and is smaller than or equal to 17.5 millimeter. The plane of the plano-convex lens is a light-beam incident plane, and a convex end is a light-beam exit plane. When the fixed light source is disposed at a coordinate origin, the convex curve of the plano-convex lens is composed of a series of points having specific coordinates. When the plano-convex lens shifts within the specific distance, a parallel light beam form the fixed light source can be refracted to achieve an effect of enhancing the uniformity of luminous brightness.

  • Patent number: 8005635
Abstract: A method and system for Self-calibrated Azimuth and Attitude Accuracy Enhancing are disclosed, wherein SAAAEMS approach is based on fully auto-calibration self-contained INS principles, not depending on magnetometers for azimuth/heading determination, and thus the system outputs and performance are not affected by the environmental magnetic fields. In order to reduce the system size and cost, this new innovative methods and algorithms are used for SAAAEMS system configuration and integration. Compared to a conventional INS for gyrocompassing, AGNC's approach uses a smaller number of high accuracy sensors: SAAAEMS uses only one 2-axis high accuracy gyro (for example, one DTG) instead of 3-axis; the third axis gyro is a MEMS gyro. It uses only 2 high accuracy accelerometers instead of 3, since the two accelerometers are used only for gyrocompassing not for navigation. These two changes to the conventional INS system configuration remarkably reduce the whole system size and cost.

  • Patent number: 7975890
Abstract: The purpose of this invention is to provide a switching mechanism for switching stapling modes of a stapler, which mainly comprises a trigger, a supporting member, a slide member, a spring, a hooking member and a torsion spring. When the safety device of the stapler is pushed, the slide member is pushed to open the air valve, and if the trigger is further pressed at this particular moment, the stapling counterforce will make the slide member escape the pressure from the safety device so as to finish a single stapling process. When the trigger is pressed first and then the safety device is pushed, the slide member is pushed to open the air valve, which makes the stapling process to continuous until the trigger is released. In other words, the above process makes a continuous stapling process.

  • Patent number: 7976201
Abstract: A two-side illuminating lens body mainly projecting light from a light emitting device to two relative outer directions includes a base with a receiving slot having a downwards opening for receiving a lighting device. A concave arc for receiving the light emitting portion of the lighting device is formed above the receiving slot as a light incident side. On a top surface of the base, two symmetrical non-spherical protrusions are jointly arranged beside a center light axis. A concave curved surface is formed to a border of the two non-spherical protrusions. Two symmetrical awl laterals are formed on relative outer edges of the non-spherical protrusions. Through three different refracting types of the concave curved surface, non-spherical protrusions, and awl laterals, rays from the light emitting device will be gradually diffused away from the center light axis so that a double-side skew light distribution of illumination like a butterfly is projected.
