  • Patent number: 6083588
Abstract: A heat-resistant sheet is provided between a fusing roller and a pressing member made of a resilient material. The heat-resistant sheet is composed of a glass fiber substrate coated with or impregnating a fluororesin having good mold lubrication and heat-resistance, such as PFA and PTFE. A paper having a pre-fused toner image is carried through a section between the fusing roller and heat-resistant sheet. Accordingly, wear or separation of the heat-resistant sheet caused by friction with the fusing roller can be prevented, thereby improving durability of the heat-resistant sheet.

  • Patent number: 5940364
Abstract: An optical disk having thereon intermittent spiral guiding grooves composed of a pit array, wherein each guiding groove has a wobbling side wall at either side, so that the pit array is used as a data reproduce-only area and spaces between adjacent guiding grooves are used as a data recordable area, thereby realizing a high-density optical disk having both the data reproduce-only area and data recordable area.

  • Patent number: 5880494
Abstract: An active type photoelectric converting device includes: a transistor formed in a surface region of a semiconductor body, the transistor accumulating signal charges generated by light incident on the transistor at the surface region of the semiconductor body in the transistor, and outputting variation of an electric signal in response to variation of the accumulated signal charges; and a first gate region including a portion of the semiconductor body, a first insulating film formed on the portion of the semiconductor body, and a first gate electrode formed the first insulating film; the gate region, provided adjacent to the transistor, for transferring the accumulated signal charges from the surface region of the semiconductor body into an inside of the semiconductor body in response to a voltage applied to the first gate electrode.
