Abstract: The invention is of a stethoscope cleansing unit and of the use of the stethoscope cleansing unit as a novel business method for promoting a marketer's logo and advertisement to medical personnel and patients in the examining room or hospital. The system attaches such advertisements to a useful and conveniently used stethoscope cleansing unit that will be used by medical personnel to sterilize stethoscope diaphragms between patient assessments, thereby preventing the spread of infectious diseases. This apparatus can be utilized in a novel business method as a way for marketers to distinguish their product from the myriad of others by 1) attracting the attention of busy medical personnel during patient examinations, which is the exact time that medical product marketers would benefit most from such attention; and by 2) attracting the attention of the patient through its presence in the examining room at a time when the patient is typically waiting for attention and has time to notice such advertisements.
Abstract: An improved method for producing dental models through use of a dough-like modeling filler material as a base, embedding a dental preliminary impression in such based, using a spring-form mold ring embedding in the base to surround the preliminary impression, and pouring dental casting material within the bounds of the mold ring to form a positive dental model.

Abstract: The invention is of an improved method and process for printing plastic tag blanks for producing plastic identifier tags (such as cattle ear tags). By printing images on tag blanks using conventional ink jet printer technology and thereafter “welding” the image to be plastic of the printed tag blank, a durable image is provided all the tag without the need for undertaking conventional hot stamp printing with its associated costs, inconveniences, and even safety hazards as associated with the heated metallic print blocks of such conventional method.

Abstract: The invention is of an improvement to orbital welding heads and welding systems for welding pipe and tubing butt joints, consisting of a novel combination of materials, including a ceramic weld insulator and a metal weld gear. Such a combination, which has a greater dielectric strength than a plastic housing design, results in a more concentric tungsten travel path, increases the duty cycles of the weld head, minimizes erratic and wandering arcing, creates an electrical insulation yielding minimal expansion, allows for increased clamping surface for improved tube alignment, and provides a compact and very robust weld head.
Abstract: A peritoneal dialysis catheter having an inflow conduit and an outflow conduit. Each conduits are linearly mated and contoured to cooperatively define a substantially circular cross sectional profile along a medial, trans-abdominal segment, but separating perhaps in radial fashion on either end of the medial, trans-abdominal segment, on a distal end to join fluted fluid transport branches and on proximal ends to join fittings for fluid delivery and collection external of the patient.
Abstract: An improved oil and gas drilling control system which utilizes improved braking and feedback technology which, in turn, permits more precise weight-on-bit control and more smooth transitions of weight-on-bit than any existing technology. In addition, the system also permits more accurate feedback and control with respect to drilling depth, pipe transitions, and rate of penetration than prior systems.
Abstract: A dynamically configured voice mail system which allows customers to send digital information through a number of different sources into a user's voice mail system. The dynamically configured voice mail system prioritizes the customer's information and converts this information into audio messages using known technology. Subsequently, the user may retrieve prioritized audio messages and take action on said audio messages by simply pressing one or more buttons on the telephone keypad. Keypad actions may be dynamically and uniquely configured for each audio message, depending on the appropriate actions intended by the sender for the recipient.
Abstract: A lightweight and portable, yet strong and stable support device formed from a horizontal support member, a set of leg members, and a collapsible attachment mechanism. The present device is easily modified between its collapsed and support position, thereby providing for efficient and use. In its collapsed position, the device may be easily moved from place to place. In its extended position, the device provides for excellent stability in withstanding sheer and lateral forces with respect to its support frame.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an ordinary crutch modified with a straight support which may be formed from a solid, lightweight tubular member, said support connected at one end to near the bottom portion of the crutch and with a bicycle pedal-like cushion on the other end for which the calf, shin or cast of the injured leg or leg of the injured foot rests. Since the pedal can freely revolve from its attachment to the solid support member, the angle at which the leg rests on the pedal relative to the crutch may be readily optimized for the patient's comfort in order to relieve pain and discomfort. Also, fatigue from the body when supporting the dangling leg may be avoided as the leg no longer dangles with its concomitant “dead weight”, because the entire weight of the leg is resting on the cushion of the leg support, the knee is flexed or extended while standing, or while sifting.
Abstract: A door breach training system and related method of use thereof. The system includes a door and frame with replaceable shear pins which are designed to break under known pressures to replicate pressures required to breach doors of varying physical characteristics and lock configurations.
