  • Patent number: 8161816
Abstract: A method and apparatus for administering a hearing test that emits a test sound with changing volume with respect to elapsed time. The volume changes according to a pre-determined relationship between the volume and elapsed time. The hearing test utilizes the elapsed time until a subject signals the test sound is audible, and the pre-determined relationship, to determine the subject sound pressure level threshold for the test sound.

  • Patent number: 7857559
Abstract: The tiedown product comprises a rod having a first end which passes through a first opening at a first side of a load. The rod also has a second end which passes through a second opening at a second side of the load. A first tiedown attaching provision is on the rod first end. A second tiedown attaching provision is on the rod second end. Tiedown lashings can connect between the tiedown attaching provisions and a cargo deck to restrain the load on the cargo deck. The rod carries force from the tiedown lashings thus preventing this force from harming the load.

  • Patent number: 7712558
Abstract: The invention is a transporter for moving a rolltainer, a trolley, and various other multi-wheeled containers that roll on a surface. The transporter utilizes lever-assisted rotating forks to lift and position the container to provide maximum traction, stability, and safety. The transporter utilizes hub motors for increased maneuverability and to eliminate drivetrain elements. The transporter is configured to keep transporter structure between the operator and the load during al operative modes to maximize operator safety.

  • Patent number: 7531731
Abstract: The tremolo-limiting product ensures reliable and repeatable returns to the initial tuned position after tension-changing events. Some embodiments of the product can preserve string tuning while still providing limited tremolo use for musical effects. The product maintains tuning by obstructing the tremolo from pivoting past the initial tuned position when string tension is changed by string breakage and other events. The product can precisely and repeatably obstruct the tremolo at the initial tuned position so that string tuning is reliably preserved.

  • Patent number: 7104360
Abstract: A mobile elevating hut product, which has a trailer, a platform, legs connecting the platform and the trailer, and a lifter for sequentially and repeatably moving the platform to and from a raised position. The trailer enables the product to be moved to different locations and set up with the platform in the raised position. The platform in the raised position is fully supported by the legs. The fully supported platform is resistant to accidental and unexpected lowering caused by transient events. The platform in the raised position provides an elevated lookout perch for work, recreation, and other purposes.

  • Patent number: 6874393
Abstract: The invention is a pipe wrench product for rotating a hollow object, such as a pipe and a tube, by engaging the object interior. The product uses the interaction when contacting between shape-wise distinguishable curved driving and driven surfaces to control the direction of force transmitted from the product to the object. The product is designed to minimize any distortion to the shape of the object caused by the product and to maximize the turning force transmitted to the object by the product.
