Abstract: A combination drinking vessel, and cup holder includes a cylindrically shaped outer container enclosing a truncated conically shaped inner container, the inner container being for holding fluid or for holding a drinking cup with the lip thereof juxtaposed to a rolled over lip about the mouth of the outer container; a rolled over lip being provided about the bottom of the outer container; a cap serving as a cover by snapping over the lip at the mouth of the outer container, or as a coaster by snapping over the lip at the bottom of the outer container; inserts for placement within the inner container for accommodating different size cups therein; and thermal insulation filling the space within said outer container not occupied by the inner container.

Abstract: A portable stereo audio and video receiver comprises a self powered pocket sized receiver and control unit for supplying stereo audio and stereo video signals to a headset worn by a user, with the headset including a pair of headphones for mounting over the ears of the user to provide stereo sound, and a pair of goggle-like enclosures positioned in front of the eyes of the user, each enclosure including a set of three miniature monochrome video displays, a color superpositioning device; and associated optics, for providing color images to the associated eye of a user, for producing a panoramic color 3D image in the brain of a user.

Abstract: A glossy black reflective metal coating with improved durability is prepared as a film of an intrinsically blackened chromium-containing metal. A laminate may be prepared with the metal coating bonded to at least one transferable resin film. A particular laminate includes at least one top coat and at least one base coat, with the metal coating located in sandwich relationship therebetween.
