Abstract: In a fuel delivery device for a motor vehicle a delivery pump (15) is provided in addition to a fuel pump (14). The delivery pump (15) serves to fill a surge baffle (5) and to drive a sucking jet pump (6). The fuel pump (14) draws in fuel from the surge baffle (5) and delivers it to an internal combustion engine (2). For this purpose, the fuel pump (14) is arranged in a feed line (3) in the vicinity of the internal combustion engine (2). A return line (4) leads from the internal combustion engine into the surge baffle (5).
Abstract: An apparatus for supplying traffic-related information in a vehicle receives a message concerning a traffic-related event, for instance a traffic queue. This message contains information about the location of the traffic-related event. The apparatus calculates the time and/or distance interval between the location of the event and the current position of the vehicle and gives an alarm if the time and/or distance interval is smaller than a predetermined time and/or distance interval.

Abstract: A multifunctional control device for an electronic apparatus having a control element that has a shaft that passes through a front panel and a slide element. The control element is biased to a centered position with respect to the opening in which it passes through the front panel. A plurality of electrical contact elements are arranged behind the front panel and are spaced from the slide element when the control element is in the centered position. The control element is adapted to permit transverse movement of the control element with respect to the front panel. The transverse movement of the control element is transmitted to the slide element to move the slide element within a plane parallel to the front panel and to engage at least one electrical contact element.
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for supporting objects (1) so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation (2), particularly, display devices in motor vehicles. The object of realizing such a device which is simple and cheap and which enables the object to be removed simply and rapidly, is achieved in that there has been provided a basic body (4) having a recess (14) which is open in a radialdirection, there has been provided a rotary body (3) adapted to be slid into the recess (14) in a radial direction and to be rotatable in the recess (14),there has been provided a locking bracket (9) by means of which the rotary body (3) can be locked against radial movement in the recess (14), andthe rotary body (3) can be locked in rotation to the object (1) in such a manner that the rotary body (3) is rotated when the object (1) is rotated in the basic body (4).

Abstract: A detachable front panel of an electronic device, containing push-buttons corresponding to actuating rods in the chassis of the device. The push buttons are provided with springs which urge the buttons against the actuating rod, and causes the buttons to be moved into the front panel when the panel is detached from the device.
