Abstract: A vacuum pump valve includes a valve body and a suction diaphragm. The valve body includes a sealing platform sealedly attached on the container at the opening thereof, and a guiding sleeve upwardly extended from the sealing platform to form a suction channel, wherein the sealing platform has an operation slot formed thereon at a position within the suction channel and at least a through ventilating groove communicating the receiving cavity of the container with an exterior thereof. The suction diaphragm is disposed within the suction channel of the valve body, including an enlarged sealing head adapted to seal on the sealing platform to enclose the ventilating groove thereof, and a guiding shaft extended from the sealing head to slidably mounted at the sealing platform at the operation slot to move the sealing head between a releasing position and a sealing position.
Abstract: A strengthened blade tape measure includes a tape casing, a retraction unit, and a ruler blade, having an inner end attached to the retraction unit and an outer end stopped at a guiding opening of the tape casing, adapted to slidably fold between a storage position and a measuring position. In which, at the storage position, the ruler blade is retracted to receive in the tape casing in a coil flattened configuration manner via the retraction unit, and at the measuring portion, the outer end of the ruler blade is slidably pulled to extend the ruler blade in a concave-convex configuration out of the tape casing through the guider opening, wherein the ruler blade is capable of standing out from the tape casing with a measuring length at least 10 feet in a self-sustaining manner so as to prevent the ruler blade from buckling by its own weight.
Abstract: An outdoors umbrella includes a supporting frame and a lighting arrangement. The supporting frame includes a supporting stem and a parasol frame, which is supported by the supporting stem, comprising a plurality of elongated awning ribs radially extended in a pivotally movable manner and a shading awning substantially supported by the awning ribs to define a shadowing area thereunder. The lighting arrangement includes a plurality of illumination holders provided along the awning ribs respectively, a power supply system mounted on the supporting frame and a chain illuminating system, which is electrically connected to the power supply system, comprising a plurality of chain lighting units alignedly held by the illumination holders along the awning ribs for illuminating the shadowing area.
Abstract: A light source arrangement for substantially enhaning the lighting intensity of the light beams emitted from the light source therefore includes a lens body and an illumination unit. The lens body has an illumination portion defining a light projecting surface and at least a diffraction portion defining a light diffraction surface inclinedly extended at a diffraction angle, wherein a diffraction density of the illumination portion is different from that of the diffraction portion. The illumination unit is covered by the lens body for radially generating light towards the illumination portion. When the light reaches the light diffraction surface of a diffraction portion at an angle larger than the diffraction angle, the light is substantially reflected at the light diffraction surface back towards the light projecting surface, such that the light from the illumination unit is converged to project at the light projecting surface of the lens body.
Abstract: An ignition unit for a lighter includes a striker wheel sandwiched between two driving units wherein each of the driving units includes a driven gear element and a driving cap. The striker wheel urges against a flint with its toothed surface of generating sparks. One of the driving caps is normally rotated about the respective driven gear element in a free rotatably movable manner unless a downward force is intentionally applied on the driving cap while rotating the driving cap to drive the respective driven gear element and said striker wheel to rotate for striking against the flint to produce sparks.
Abstract: A foldable table includes a tabletop, two side runners respectively supported at two side edge portions of the tabletop, a longitudinal mid-support arrangement including a mid-runner longitudinally extended between the two side runners to support the tabletop, and two leg assemblies affixing to the tabletop. Each leg assembly includes a leg frame transversely and pivotally mounted between the two side runners and a folding frame pivotally coupling between the leg frame and the mid-runner to retain the leg frame in an unfolded position, in such a manner that in a folded position, the leg frames are pivotally and inwardly folded to rest under the tabletop, and in the unfolded position, the leg frames are pivotally and outwardly folded to perpendicularly stand under the tabletop. Therefore, the longitudinal mid-support arrangement is adapted for evenly distributing and supporting a downward loading force on the tabletop to the leg assemblies.
Abstract: A rotation control brake system includes a tubular brake actuator coaxially mounted at a steering handle of a rider propelling vehicle, a brake unit operatively mounted at a position close to a driving wheel of the rider propelling vehicle, and a brake cable having a driving end coupling with the brake unit and an opposed actuating end extended to couple with the brake actuator to retain the brake actuator at a normal driving position. wherein at a braking position, the brake actuator is rotatably, longitudinally and outwardly slid with respect to the steering handle to pull the brake cable that the brake unit is biased against the driving wheel to control a rotational speed of the driving wheel, such that the rider propelling vehicle is adapted for being well controlled while the rider keeps the hand thereof at the steering handle.
