Abstract: A scoping auger of adjustable length is described. The scoping auger includes two conventional augers interconnected to each other in with a sliding connection mounting the two augers to each other with their longitudinal axes parallel with one auger section above the other. A longitudinally extended opening is formed in the top of the auger tube of the lower auger section so that particulate material being conveyed by the upper auger section can be deposited for further conveying of the particulate material anywhere within the length of the opening.

Abstract: An actuator/coupler device having a housing connected to a towed vehicle and a coupler attached to a towing vehicle, wherein the coupler is secured to the housing through a pair of opposing roller shafts extending through a slot within the coupler and a hole in the housing. Rollers secured to the roller shafts bear on a surface within the generally hollow interior of the coupler. A brake actuator secures within the coupler, wherein a first end of the brake actuator is secured to the rear roller shaft and a second end is fixed to the coupler, wherein the brake actuator is in operable communication with the brakes of the towed vehicle such that the brake actuator is actuated by movement of the coupler relative to the housing. A coupler ball socket is included within the coupler for releasable attachment of the coupler ball connected to the towing vehicle.

Abstract: A gooseneck hitch assembly is provided for attaching to a towing vehicle. The hitch assembly generally includes a hitch ball head assembly and retaining assembly for receiving and securing the hitch ball head assembly. The retaining assembly includes a channel coupled to a locking collar. Once the hitch ball head assembly is inserted into the channel, the collar is released and resilient members guide the collar to its offset resting position to lock the hitch ball head assembly in place. Alternatively, the collar is released and resilient members guide a lever into a circumscribed groove of the hitch ball head assembly, thereby locking the hitch ball head assembly in place. The hitch ball head is removable and may be selectively received by the retaining assembly in both towing and inverted positions. Optionally, the hitch assembly may be protected or covered by a housing.

Abstract: An apparatus for vulcanizing at least a tread of a tire has a top mold section and a bottom mold section. The mold sections are secured to one another during a vulcanizing process by a plurality of locking mechanisms located around the outer circumference of the apparatus. Each locking mechanism includes a dual action hydraulic actuator. A piston rod of the hydraulic actuator imparts movement to a generally vertically oriented articulated linkage member. T-shaped projection located at an end of the articulated linkage member distal from the piston rod is brought into engagement with a securing member associated with the top mold section to secure the mold sections to one another. After the vulcanizing process is complete the hydraulic actuator imparts movement to the articulated linkage member to release the top mold section from the bottom mold section.

Abstract: Control apparatus for a pneumatic seed meter having a seed disc that uses a pneumatic pressure differential to hold and release seed on a rotating disc. The control apparatus is controlled to disrupt the pressure differential in an area of the rotating disc to selectively disrupt planting of seed by the seed meter to, for example, reduce overlap planting.

Abstract: A stabilized carotenoid-based pigmenter free of synthetic antioxidants for the addition to animal feed to add color to tissues of animals fed the animal feed. The carotenoid-based pigmenter contains free-form carotenoids obtained from natural sources through a saponification reaction. A natural antioxidant, such as grape seed extracts, green tea extracts, clove bud oil, clove leaf oil, Vitamin C, cinnamon leaf oil, oleoresin turmeric, tocopherol, tocotrienol, rosemary extracts and gallic acid or salts thereof combined with a diluent, preferably glycerol or a glycerol-like substance, is added to the pigmenter after the saponification reaction.

Abstract: A reversible container is provided with a hollow housing and removable closures at each end. The container is filled with a substance, and when at least some of the substance has been removed, the container is refilled with the substance and inverted. In this way, the user is able to use substantially all of the contents of the container, and is able to use completely the older substance first, because the older substance is at the top of the container after the container is inverted.

Abstract: A safety sign for a shooting shed or building at a shotgun range is disclosed. The safety sign is mounted on the building and moveable between an exterior warning position wherein a warning sign is displayed and visible exterior of the building, warning shooters that it is not safe to shoot, and an interior warning position wherein the warning sign is visible inside the building and provides warning to occupants that it is not safe to exit the building. Preferably, the safety sign is mounted near the exit door of the building and partially obstructs the exit when in the interior warning position so as to provide further warning to occupants not to exit the building.

Abstract: A gravesite memorial display is provided which includes a display rack and support post. The display rack displays items that depict hobbies, interests, and achievements of the deceased. The gravesite memorial display also includes an anti-theft bar that prevents theft of memorial items.

Abstract: A chair is provided with a seat and a base for securing the chair to the floor. A footrest secures to the seat, and a linking mechanism moves the footrest between an extended and a retracted position. The linking mechanism comprises a bracket that allows the footrest to pivotably mount thereto. A handle pivotably secures to the bracket and a first end of a first link. The second end of the first link pivotably secures to the first end of a second link, and the second end of the second link pivotably secures to an additional pivotable mount on the footrest. Movement of the handle moves the footrest between the extended and retracted positions.

Abstract: A performance map is provided comprising a plurality of performance curves showing head/flow conditions at various compressor speeds, terminating at one end at surge points. The performance curves are converted into deviation curves representing deviations from the surge point at the head/flow conditions. The curves are merged into a universal compressor curve with a merge-function and a pre-defined tolerance. Imaginary map head/flow values are calculated using the universal compressor curve, merge-function, deviation curves, and performance curves at the compressor speed. A ratio of the imaginary map head/flow values is compared to a ratio of the actual head/flow values at the compressor speed to determine if the ratios are within a pre-defined tolerance. The process repeats until the ratios are within the tolerance. The molecular weight of the compressor gas is calculated using a function of the actual and imaginary flow values and/or head values.

Abstract: A windmill is provided wherein the windmill comprises a central rotating shaft with an upper and a lower end opposite thereto. A blade arm is provided with an inward and an outward end opposite thereto, wherein the inward end of the blade arm is connected to the upper end of the rotating shaft. An aerodynamically shaped foil connects to the outward end of the blade arm. A cam frame connects to the central rotating shaft such that the cam frame remains substantially stationary when the central rotating shaft rotates. An outer tilted cam track connects to the cam frame, and an inner tilted cam track connects to the cam frame and is located inside the outer tilted cam track, wherein an axis of tilt of the outer cam track and an axis of tilt of the inner cam frame are transversely aligned.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an accessory for use with bar clamps, and more specifically, to a bar clamp attachment for extending a bar clamp to a plurality of working lengths. The bar clamp extension of the present invention generally comprises an extension bar and a coupler that releasably attaches the extension bar to a primary bar of a bar clamp.

Abstract: A shock absorbing transport frame is provided. The frame comprises an inner frame and an outer frame capable of supporting a transportation device. The outer frame is secured to the inner frame in a manner that will control movement between the inner and outer frames. A four bar linkage operating between the inner and outer frame provides the movement control. The frame includes a pneumatic self-adjusting mechanism to maintain a constant gap between the inner and outer frame. The mechanism includes an air valve that adjusts air pressure to an air bag connected to the four bar linkage, wherein changes in the distance between the inner and outer frame create changes in the pressure to the air bag thereby exerting a counter acting force to return the inner and outer frame to a neutral position.

Abstract: A wet material treatment apparatus includes an inlet hopper for introducing the wet material into the apparatus. The hopper feeds the wet material into an injector auger that physically directs the wet material into a high velocity air stream produced by a blower thereby directing the flow of the wet material through the apparatus. The wet material moves from the injector auger into a cyclone that separates the wet material through specific gravity and desiccation into a substantially liquid and a substantially solid portion. The substantially liquid portion is discharged through a first outlet in the cyclone to a wet scrubber, while the substantially solid portion of the wet material is discharged through a second outlet. The apparatus can be mounted to a trailer for mobile transportation, and can include two cyclones operating in series.

Abstract: A corner form assembly for forming inside corners of concrete structures. A pair of double bias form components, each of which has an acute angle between a side rail and the face sheet are arranged with the side rails in contact engagement to form a form assembly with an inside angle equal to twice the acute angle of the side rails. A reverse bias coupler is used to join the double bias form components with conventional wall form panels having 90° end rails. The corner assembly acts to release the forces imposed on the components by the poured concrete upon disassembly and so allows the components to be readily stripped from the poured wall.

Abstract: A face plate is provided for releasable attachment between a hammer and a hammer tip of a size reducing machine. The face plate provides a buffer between the hammer and the hammer tip. The hammer has a body with a forward facing hammer face that aligns with the back of the face plate. The front of the face plate aligns with the back of the hammer tip. The hammer, hammer tip, and face plate contain aligned bolt holes for receipt of a securement bolt that releasably secures the hammer, face plate, and hammer tip. The face plate includes a center section raised above opposing ledges designed for mated alignment with a recessed center section of the back of the hammer tip.
