Abstract: A container assembly system for storing multiple components of a formulation in separate individual container assembly units (10, 30, 30?, 130, 130?, 230, 230?) that can be assembled easily into a single multi-compartment container. The components of a formulation may be stored in each assembly units (10, 30, 30?, 130, 130?, 230, 230?) and then assembled into a multi-compartment container so that the components can be mixed into a formula just prior to use. The assembly units, each containing a component of a formulation, can also be assembled into a single multi-compartment container first and then stored until ready for use.
Abstract: A damper mechanism for isolating vibrations from a vacuum pump constructed and adapted for coupling to a vacuum chamber, the damper mechanism including an elastomeric material, preferably an elastomer diaphragm, coupled between the pump and the vacuum chamber so as to permit the pump to move in six degrees of freedom, while transferring minimum force to the chamber.
Abstract: A method for slowing the heat transfer rate to a flow facing part of an object exposed to a high total enthalpy fluid flow flowing in a direction approximately perpendicular to that part, including the step of recessing that part. There is also provided apparatus for protecting a heat sensitive instrument (26) in an object (20) from a high enthalpy fluid flow impinging on the instrument in flow facing relationship, and to which the instrument must be exposed due to the nature of its desired functioning, including an essentially unvented recess (22) defined in or near the tip or the leading edge of the object, the instrument being disposed in the recess.
