  • Patent number: 8350960
Abstract: The prompting device has a frame, a plurality of reflective panes, and support members and may be used on a desktop by a home or small business user to read a script in a natural manner while speaking to a camera or other video capturing device. In the preferred embodiment, the frame has a user side and a camera side, and is lightweight and readily collapsible such that it may be easily stored when not in use. A collecting pane reflects an image onto a viewing pane, so as to create a displayed image which may be viewed by a user. The viewing pane is generally transparent allowing a user to be recorded or photographed through the viewing pane. In another embodiment the prompting device has an opaque cover. The support assemblies are adjustable in height and the panes have an adjustable angle. In another embodiment the support assemblies are hangers. In another embodiment the image is an image reflected from a computer monitor and may be scrolling text.

  • Patent number: 8257298
Abstract: A multitube catheter is provided. The assembly includes two or more tubes fused together to form one catheter tube shaft. Each tube has at least one lumen extending longitudinally through the catheter from its distal end to its proximal end. The tubes are fused together by use of heat and pressure. A distal end of the united catheter tube can be split to form a split tip, stepped tip, or a tapered tip. The proximal segment (non-fused portion) forms catheter extension legs.

  • Patent number: 8245463
Abstract: The sealing fin is elongated, and includes a central fin portion intersecting a crosspiece portion perpendicular thereto, thus generally forming a “T” shape in a preferred embodiment and an “L” shape in another. The sealing fin may be folded into a flat position and easily rolled. In one aspect of the present invention, the sealing fin has an adhesive layer on one or more surfaces. In another aspect of the present invention, the sealing fin is rigid. In another aspect of the present invention, the sealing fin has a rectangular configuration with a hinged portion. The invention provides a method to install a sealing fin in a continuous fashion around a window or door opening.

  • Patent number: 7762351
Abstract: The perforation gun is comprised of a tubular carrier, a charge holder, a plurality of sealed charges, and a detonating cord. The tubular carrier has a length and a plurality of openings. The charge holder has a length and is comprised of a plurality of mounting locations which are each capable of receiving one of the sealed charges. The charge holder is capable of being secured within the carrier. The detonating cord is coupled to at least one sealed charge. In the mounted position and when the charge holder is secured within the carrier, the charges are aligned with the openings in the carrier such that, upon detonation, charge blasts emitted from the charges exit though the carrier openings and perforate a well casing and cement. In one aspect of the invention, the carrier openings are spirally arranged and spaced along the length of the carrier. In still another aspect of the invention, the openings are vertically arranged and spaced along the length of the carrier.

  • Patent number: 7740780
Abstract: Multitube catheter and method for making the same are provided. The assembly includes two or more tube fused together to form one catheter tube shaft. Each tube has at least one lumen extending longitudinally through the catheter from its distal end to its proximal end. The tubes are fused together by use of heat & pressure. Heat and pressure can be generated by heat sensitive tube slides over a segment of catheter tubes while metallic mandrels are passed through each tube lumen to protect the lumens during fusion. The heat sensitive tube will shrink once heat is applied. The heat sensitive tube will shrink and apply the required pressure over the catheter tubes. Continual heating will melt and re-shape the catheter tubes inside the heat sensitive tube while the letter will not be affected due to its high melting temperature. After cooling, the heat sensitive tube is to be removed, the metallic mandrels are pulled back and the tubes forming the united catheter tube.
