Abstract: A packing sheet useful for preserving freshness of flowers, fruits and other foods from deterioration during transport. The packing sheet comprises a central partition sheet, a water permeable sheet having portions of a surface thereof sealed to a surface of the partition sheet, so as to create at least one closed pouch between the water permeable sheet and the central partition sheet, a water absorptive resin contained within the pouch, an air permeable sheet having portions of a surface thereof sealed to the other surface of the central partition sheet so as to create at least one opposite closed pouch between the air permeable sheet and the central partition sheet, and a marginal portion adapted for attachment to a transport case.

Abstract: A vertical spindle type grinding mill for example for crushing coal comprises upper and lower rings 1, 2 together defining a track for rolling grinding members 3 and yokes 7, 4 bearing against the upper and lower rings 1, 2 for resisting forces tending to separate them. A drive is provided via main shaft 8, for effecting relative rotation between the rings. At least one yoke, preferably the lower yoke 4, bears against its associated ring 2 via interposed elastomeric material 6. This reduces the risk of brittle fracture when using hard relatively brittle alloys for the manufacture of the upper and lower rings so that they have increased wear resistance.

Abstract: A holding apparatus for use in combination with a working machine, where such loading apparatus has a first quadric parallel link body attached to the working machine and adapted to be oscillated within a vertical plane; a second quadric parallel link body attached to the first link body through a L-shaped member for oscillating motion therewith, and having a holder arm assembly effective to hold a workpiece; and a mechanism adapted to reciprocate said holder arm assembly of the second link body.

Abstract: A pair of jaws operable in a common plane between an open and closed position for the selective clamping of a plastic tube or the like, one of the jaws being selectively shiftable out of the common plane in the open position and automatically returned to the common plane upon a closing movement of the jaws.
