Abstract: A bearing for a fuel pump includes a sliding layer made of mainly carbon, and a supporting layer made of mainly carbon and a metal. The supporting layer is connected to the sliding layer to support the sliding layer. Because the sliding layer of the bearing is made of mainly carbon, corrosion resistance of the bearing can be improved. Further, the supporting layer improves the strength of the bearing. Accordingly, the bearing with the two-layer structure effectively improves the corrosion resistance while the strength thereof can be increased. The bearing can be suitably used for the fuel pump. In this case, the bearing is press-fitted to a casing member on the supporting layer, and a rotary shaft of the fuel pump is slidably held in the bearing on the sliding layer.
Abstract: An oxygen sensor abnormality detecting device has first and second offset circuits for applying first and second offset voltages to a ground line and an output line of an oxygen sensor. The device compares the voltage of the output line with a high voltage-side shorting determination value, a low voltage-side shorting determination value and a break determination value to detect a high voltage-side shorting, a low voltage-side shorting and a line break.
Abstract: The invention provides a signal process apparatus for an on-vehicle radar and a method thereof that can reduce operation load and obtain a sufficient detection capability.
According to information on a detected object, the invention registers as peak data a frequency BIN contained in a frequency region around a prediction peak that is to be detected on a distance power spectrum. The invention predicts a running line on which a predetermined vehicle runs, obtains a power spectrum along the running line, and registers as peak data the peak of the power spectrum. Then, the invention averages the distance power spectrum obtained for each channel, registers as peak data the peak of the averaged distance power spectrum, and only with regard to the registered peak data (frequency BIN), seeks a directional power spectrum.
