Abstract: A side gusseted poly bag with a filling valve and its method of manufacture including a tubular body with opposed side gussets defining front and rear panels, and a filling valve formed by folding the front and rear panels with the interconnecting gusset portion at one corner of the bag inwardly into the bag forming a filling panel, and simultaneously heat sealing the top edges of the front and rear panels with the top edges of the filling panel forming a filling tube and valve that closes itself under the force of material as it rises in the bag.
Abstract: An improved line of golf clubs tailored to the golfer. The face wall firstly is designed so that the face wall modulus of elasticity increases from a low modulus for the low swing speed range to progressively higher modula for the higher swing speed ranges. Face modulus can be altered by a variety of techniques including face wall thinning, material selection and heat treatment or a combination thereof. In each of the swing speed range clubs, the face has a first modulus of elasticity determined by the face itself and after the face deflects to a predetermined value, the face modulus is significantly increased by a secondary wall parallel to and closely spaced behind the face wall.
Abstract: A carrying case for a PDA(organizer-data receiver transmitter) that permits the PDA to be swung out of the case for connection to a charger or other peripheral devices without detaching the PDA from the case. A flexible flap permits this and is pivotally connected at one end in the case and attached by loop and hook connectors to the rear of the PDA.
Abstract: A disposable protective foot pad, composite and its method of manufacture including a resilient planar foam base, an adhesive layer on one side of the base, carried by a film having another adhesive layer on its opposite side covered by a protective sheet. The foot pad composite is manufactured by feeding a web of elastomeric foam in contact with a double-sided film after one of two protective sheets is removed from one side of the film and thereafter simul- taneously die cutting a plurality of protective foot pads from the foam web, film and protective sheet composite.
Abstract: A power supply with DC surge and spike protection having additional, optional power conditioning and control functions such as low voltage protection, electro mechanical interferences(EMI) protection and radio frequency interference(RFI) protection. The device is for attachment to vehicular electrical systems for protecting, conditioning or controlling the input power to electrical devices such as computers, audio and video systems, PDA's, wireless phones, and other electronic products. The power supply includes a housing having a male cigarette lighter plug inserted into a vehicular cigarette lighter plug or DC power outlet, electrical circuitry in the housing and one or more female power receptacles into which the powered electrical devices DC connectors are inserted.
Abstract: A pedestal for outdoor circuits including a vertically elongated rectangular housing having a substantial lower portion thereof mounted below grade and an integral upper portion projecting above grade. The lower portion has a lower opening for receiving conduits, cables or conductors without restriction. The upper portion has a rectangular opening for receiving selectively single or double gauged NEMA devices such as receptacles, switches, lights, etc. The area around the opening is drilled and tapped to standard NEMA specifications to easily mount the NEMA devices as well as cover plates, bezels and pivot cap covers. A long removable access cover panel fits under a peripheral rain deflector rib. This cover provides access to the wiring and to fasteners that mount the housing to a fixed abutment.
Abstract: A means to engage two vertical pipes or tubes of unlike and increasing size that have been co-inserted such as with a roof or floor drain, in a manner that prevents the contained fluid from overspilling when the said pipes become full or when the fluid flows in a direction opposite from normal gravity flow, which is generally considered as flow from the smaller to the larger pipe. The means of engagement closes the void between the inside diameter larger pipe and outside diameter smaller pipe to withstand fluid pressure in a way that accounts for angular misalignment, pipe or tube eccentricity, manufacturing tolerance, as well as tube condition and debris attached to either pipe sidewall. More specifically, a roof drain system for existing roofs or new construction including a flanged outlet pipe for insertion into the roof drain pipe with the flange mounted on top of the roof. A water straining system is mounted on top of the flange.
Abstract: A beverage holder assembly for the office area that includes a vertical clamp for attachment to a supporting object such as a computer monitor. A first vertical leg carries a first clamping jaw and a second vertical leg carries a second clamping jaw, with both jaws horizontally disposed. The jaws and the legs are locked in position by a screw-type transverse blade and a serrated strip lock. The beverage holder is cylindrical and has a sleeve slidable on the legs to provide holder height adjustment.
Abstract: An improved freestanding golf swing training system with a floor-mounted base 9or mounted-to-ground post) and a pelvic belt assembly that wraps around the golfer's hips and guides the golfer's pivot during the backswing, downswing and follow through. The adjustable, dual-axis system guides the pelvis as it pivots about an axis behindthe golfer's right leg (for right handers) in the backswing and downswing, and pivots about an axis behind and outside the golfer's left leg in the follow through. A dual-pivot mechanism, that connects the belt to the base, inhibits lateral movement of the hips during the backswing and downswing. The mechanism allows the distance between the pivot centers to be adjustable to various hip sizes. The system has a built-in conversion feature that permits the belt to be inverted to accommodate both right-handed and left-handed golfers.

Abstract: A scale weight combination selection system for selecting the most appropriate combination of scale weights for combinational weight machines. The system is best utilized in higher number order of scale machines and includes date stamping the scale weights as the scales are loaded, dividing the scale weights into two groups, one the earlier date stamps, and the other the later date stamps, calculating all combinations of scale weights in each group, assigning a digital code to each combination with code position representing scale number, ranking and sorting the digital codes in each group by a formula giving preference to the earliest date scale weights and the greatest number of scales in the combinations, adding the combinations, sequentially adding the combinations in one group to the combinations in the other groups in the ranked order, and selecting from the resulting combinations, the best combination of scale weights closest to a target weight.
Abstract: A wood-type golf club having an enlarged club head in the range of 250 to 300 cm.3 constructed of a material lighter than steel to maintain the total club head weight within normal limits including the weight of novel power shaft according to the present invention. The club head, without the power shaft, is approximately 175 gms. and the power shaft weighs approximately 25 gms., so the total club head weight is approximately 200 gms. and within normal limits. The power shaft, integral with the rear of the ball striking face wall at its forward end and integral or cast into the rear of the club head at its rear end, while reinforcing the ball striking face wall, increases the resonant frequency of the face wall to synchronize face wall rebound to the player's swing speed. Face wall resonant frequency is varied by changing the size and weight of the power shaft.
