Abstract: Solid Lewis adducts comprising MgCl2, a Lewis base (LB) belonging to ethers, esters, ketones, silanes or amines and an alcohol ROH, in which R is a C1-C15 hydrocarbon group optionally substituted with heteroatoms containing groups, which compounds are in molar ratios to each other defined by the following formula MgCl2(ROH)m(LB)n in which m ranges from 0.05 to 6, n ranges from 0.08 to 6. The solid Lewis adducts herein can be used to prepare catalysts having good morphological stability, and high polymerization activity.

Abstract: Polyethylene which comprises ethylene homopolymers and/or copolymers of ethylene with 1-alkenes and has a molar mass distribution width Mw/Mn of from 3 to 30, a density of from 0.945 to 0.965 g/cm3, a weight average molar mass Mw of from 50 000 g/mol to 200 000 g/mol, a HLMI of from 10 to 300 g/10 min and has from 0.1 to 15 branches/1000 carbon atoms, wherein the 1 to 15% by weight of the polyethylene having the highest molar masses have a degree of branching of more than 1 branch of side chains larger than CH3/1000 carbon atoms, a process for its preparation, catalysts suitable for its preparation and also injection moldings in which this polyethylene is present.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are compounds of the formula: (R)x—Sn—(R?)4-x wherein: R is alkyl; R? is a moiety selected from the group consisting of: w is 0 or 1; x is 1 or 2; y is 1, 2, 3, or 4; and Z is a linear, branched, cyclic, or aromatic hydrocarbon. These compounds are excellent stabilizers for halogen-containing resins, such as PVC.

The method and system have particular utility in markets where the standard terms of sale are Destination Delivered. The method and system enables sellers to create, configure and maintain seller-specific CPU programs having at least one strategy option and at least one CPU allowance unit rate structure option which can be contemporaneously accessed by buyers to identify potential CPU opportunities and then submit a CPU proposal/request, each based on a single CPU strategy option, to one or more sellers, wherein the CPU proposal/request is a collaboration invitation, a supply bid or a request for a lane allowance quotation structured to facilitate structured to facilitate the agreement of a mutually acceptable CPU allowance unit rate consistent with the selected CPU strategy option.

Abstract: Disclosed are ethylenically unsaturated amine salts of sulfonic, phosphoric and carboxylic acids. The salts are surface active agents which are useful in a variety of applications as primary and/or secondary surfactants. The salts are especially useful as surfactants in emulsion polymerization reactions.

Abstract: A method and system for effectuating the optimum configuration of a duplex tracking device used to track the location and attributes of a mobile asset during a discrete event and the distribution of the data reported by the device so that the owner of the mobile asset and one or more of the owner's business partners can contemporaneously access the tracking data that they require. Each party first specifies a minimum configuration for all events with which they are associated, and then optionally specifies more extensive configurations for classes of discrete events. The owner may also constrain the data that partners can request by specifying access authorities for each class of business partners. The configuration parameters for a discrete event are systematically determined to minimize the data to be reported by the device while still meeting the requirements of all the parties, as constrained by the access authorities.
