  • Patent number: 7171838
Abstract: Method and apparatus for producing a thin walled tubular product with thickened flange. A first stage metalworking (drawing) of a circular plate material A is done by using a first die set 22 having a conical die 24 and a drawing punch 26 is done in a manner that the end of the blank plate is remained on the conical surface 24-1 of the die, so that a semi-finished tubular product A1 with a inclined flange A1-1 is obtained. Then, a second stage metalworking (drawing) of the semi-finished tubular product A1 is done by a second die set 32 having a shaping punch 34 and a restraint die 36. The semi-finished tubular product A1 is held by the restraint die 36 and the shaping punch 34 is introduced into the semi-finished tubular product A1 for effecting a wall thickness reduction under ironing principle while forming a stepped portion.

  • Patent number: 7168284
Abstract: A system for forging a rack bar from a blank pipe. A blank pipe 1 is held between dies 2 and 3. Stockers 7L and 7R are arranged on respective sides of the die set. In the stockers 7L and 7R, left-handed shuttles 6L1, 6L2, 6L3, . . . 6Ln and right-handed shuttles 6R1, 6R2, 6R3 . . . 6Rn are stored. First, a left-handed presser rod 5L inserts the shuttles 6L1 to the blank pipe from the left-handed stocker 7L. Then, a right-handed presser rod 5R inserts the shuttles 6R1 to the blank pipe from the right-handed stocker 7R, causing the shuttles 6L1 to be entrained and returned to the left-handed stocker 7L. Vertical shift movement is alternately executed between the left-handed and right-handed stockers 7L and 7R, so that a shuttle of step-likely increased working height is selected for executing a working process.

  • Patent number: 7156853
Abstract: An apparatus in a total knee replacement and arthroplasty operation for measuring a joint gap and ligament balance between a osteotomized surface at a femoral distal end and a osteotomized surface at a tibial proximal end. The apparatus is provided with a base 10, from which an engaging plate 14 extends by way of an arm, so that the engaging plate 14 contacts with the osteotomized surface at the tibial proximal end. A moving body 18 is vertically movably connected to the base 10, from which moving body 18 an arm 20 extends, to which arm a supporting plate 22 is rotatably mounted about a central axis. The supporting plate 22 has, at its top surface, a projected portion 48. to which an auxiliary guiding piece 50 is connected under a snap like fitted manner. A femoral component 52 is mounted, at its groove portion 54, to the osteotomized surface at the femoral distal end.

  • Patent number: 7158581
Abstract: A method for determining the parameters and characteristics of an n-port network such as an amplifier is described. The parameters are determined by applying an input signal train or sequence with different amplitudes and measuring an output signal train, taking into account a temporal displacement that the output signal train has in relation to the input signal train. The temporal displacement is determined by a cross-correlation of the output signal train with the input signal train.

  • Patent number: 7115048
Abstract: An iron head for a golf club having a metallic head body provided with a hosel part and a plate-like face body welded to the head body and made of a metallic material different from the metal of the head body so as to define a cavity between the back portion of the head body and the rear face of the face body in a manner such that the cavity extends to a position remote from the periphery of the face body located on the side of the heel of the head body toward the heel, and that a receipt portion of the head body provided for receiving the rear face of the face body on the heel side has a length thereof extending along the periphery of the face body on the heel side and being equal to or less than one forth of the length of the periphery of the face body on the heel side.

  • Patent number: 7088089
Abstract: A power detector for measuring the average power, without constant voltage, of modulated or unmodulated high frequency or microwave signals is described. The power detector includes a signal line connected to a high frequency input. A detection line is capacitively and/or inductively coupled to the signal line and, seen in the longitudinal direction, is connected to the signal line. The signal is tapped from the detection line at two or more detection positions which are staggered in the longitudinal direction.

  • Patent number: 7065464
Abstract: A measuring device includes a representation device on which dialog windows can be represented, in addition to a method and software for managing said dialog windows. Several parameters can be adjusted for at least one part of the functional units and input through the dialog windows. Each newly opened dialog window is associated with a soft key and represented by an icon in a window management strip. The respectively associated dialog windows can be placed in the forefront using the soft keys.
