  • Patent number: 8066548
Abstract: A multi-axes contouring machine for contouring a workpiece within a cavity of a main frame by moving a machining part along one or more axes simultaneously to the movement of the workpiece along one or more different axes. In an exemplary embodiment, the machining part simultaneously moves along an X and Y axis, while a workpiece moves along a Z axis. Here, the main frame comprises two adjacent side walls each having an opening cut out. A first carriage is attached to one of the side walls to move in the X direction, and a second carriage is attached to the first carriage to move in the Y direction. The machining part is actuated by the X and Y axes-oriented carriages. On another side wall, a carriage is attached to move in a Z direction, and the workpiece is actuated by the Z axis-oriented carriage.

  • Patent number: 7898098
Abstract: An asymmetric hydraulic press electric generator that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy using hydraulic pressure. The generator employs the principle that force acting on a small area can create a much larger force by virtue of hydrostatic pressure and that a large amount of energy can be carried by a small flow of highly pressurized fluid. Given that the device does not use any natural resources to produce electric power, it is a radically new method of generating clean, renewable energy. This innovative technology aims to change the current destructive cycle of energy production into a constructive cycle that benefits all.

  • Patent number: 7837219
Abstract: A binding assembly comprising a binding which comprises a boot platform and a positioning unit, wherein the positioning unit secures the binding assembly to a sports board. The positioning unit comprises an anchoring subunit comprising a central member; and a locking subunit comprising a handle in communication with an engaging member. At one moment the handle exerts a first force on the engaging member thereby causing the engaging member to move towards the central member until the engaging member is in contact with the central member, at which point the handle is maneuvered to lock the binding assembly into position. At another moment, the handle exerts a second force on the engaging member thereby causing the engaging member to move away from the central member, thereby unlocking the binding assembly. When unlocked, the binding is rotatable about a central longitudinal axis, and when unlocked, the binding is fixed in position.

  • Patent number: 7798105
Abstract: A method for instructing a horse to jump over a barricade, comprising acclimating the horse to the barricade, wherein such acclimation comprises providing a jump wherein the jump comprises an overlay having visually depicted thereon a realistic image of the barricade; providing the horse with visual access to the image depicted on the first overlay; and having the horse jump over the jump. The horse may be instructed to jump over an endless number of types of barricades simply by removing the overlay from the jump and replacing it with an overlay having depicted thereon a visual image of the desired type of barricade. By repeating the jumping process over the overlay bearing an image of the particular type of barricade, the horse will proficiently and cost effectively learn to jump over the actual barricade when presented to the barricade.
