Abstract: A frame system for a fold down top for vehicles includes first and third generally rectangular-shaped perimeter frame members and a second U-shaped frame member. In the frame system's open position, the first frame member is pivotedly connectable along its transverse lower end portion to the vehicle about a first axis in a generally upright position. The second frame member, parallel to the first frame member, is also pivotedly connected along its transverse midportion about a second axis which is rearwardly positioned from the first axis. The third frame member is horizontally positioned having its forwardly end portion forwardly disposed over the front portion of the passenger compartment of the vehicle. The third frame member is pivotedly connected along its rearwardly end portion to the second frame member about a third axis and also pivotedly connected to the first frame member and about fourth axis.
Abstract: A bottle orientation system for orientating and uprighting a horizontal flow of bottles being conveyed by coacting endless belt conveyors. The system includes a raised kick-up stop and knock-down stop for positioning all bottles in a bottom-first position between the belt. A raised platform then rights the bottles between the belts.
Abstract: A motorized control damper having at least one damper blade mounted to a drive journaled within a framework. An electric motor is directly connected to one end of the drive shaft on one side of the framework and a return spring connected to the other end of the drive shaft, preferably concentrically. Operation of the electric motor opens the damper blade by rotation of the drive shaft. Upon de-energization of the electric motor, the return spring counter rotates the drive shaft to close the damper blade.
Abstract: A glass panel mounting assembly (10) which comprises a laminated glass panel (11) which is resiliently deflectable, a U-shaped holder (12) in which one edge (16) of the panel (11) is rigidly mounted, and adjustable securing means (17) extending between the metal limbs (13, 14) of the holder (12) and below the panel edge (16) in order to clamp the panel edge between the metal limbs. A pair of packings (18) are arranged one between each side of the panel edge and the inner face of the respective adjacent limb of the holder, each packing being made of a hard plastics or elastomeric material having a slight degree of resilience, and sealant material (20) is arranged substantially to fill the remainder of the channel (15) which is defined between the free end of the limbs (13, 14) and the packings (18).
Abstract: A three phase electrical load protection device is disclosed including an input transducer for detecting each phase voltage and the direction of rotation of the phases of a three phase power system. A control monitor is disclosed for monitoring signals from the input transducer representative of the highest and lowest phase voltages and the direction of rotation of the phases for controlling an output device for disconnecting the electrical load when improper supply conditions are detected and monitored.
Abstract: A machine for manufacturing bottles including pneumatic conveying apparatus for container bodies and pneumatic conveying apparatus for base cups and a base cupping assembly and for joining the conveyed container bodies and base cups to form bottles. The conveying apparatus for the container bodies has an interior channel member with louvers in the top and side walls and an exterior channel member thereover to form a plenum chamber therebetween for functioning with the interior channel member and its louvers in effecting the conveying of container bodies.

Abstract: A process for manufacturing aggregate from the ash residues resulting from incineration of municipal solid waste. Fly ash residue is added to bottom ash residue and oversized material is removed. The combined ash residue is mixed and ferrous metal is magnetically removed. The combined ash residue is comminuted and heavy metal immobilizing and volumetric stabilizing agents are added. Water is added to and mixed with the combined ash residue and stabilizing agents. The resulting mixture is retained for sufficient time to allow the immobilizing and stabilizing reactions to occur and weak agglomerations to form. The agglomerations are broken into individual particles before a solid mass is formed.
Abstract: An apparatus relating to assembly and welding machines having multiple nests each for insertion of a part into a fixture for subsequent assembly and/or automatic welding. The apparatus comprises a pair of parallel-disposed nests which are sequentially operated allowing an operator to manually insert a part into one nest while the part in the other nest is being operated on by robotics.
Abstract: An attachment device for use in combination with a pegboard and a hook. The device includes a screw constituting the inboard end of the device. The screw is of such configuration that, upon being twisted into a pegboard hole, it may be positively held by forces exerted by the surfaces of the screw on opposite sides of the pegboard at the peripheries of the hole without deforming the hole. The device also includes a clip constituting the outboard end of the device and coupled to the screw for being positively fastened to the pegboard by the screw.
Abstract: A windshield assembly for a golf cart comprising horizontal upper tracks located in the upper portion of a golf cart; vertical lower tracks extending downwardly from the upper tracks and supported by the lower portion of the golf cart at the front thereof with junctions being formed at the area where the upper and lower tracks are joined; a windshield having an upper pair of rollers slidable in the upper tracks and a lower pair of rollers slidable in the lower tracks; wall means, downwardly extending from the upper tracks to retain the rollers within the tracks; pin means spring urged into the track means to preclude movement of the rollers therepast, the pin means being retractable to allow movement of the rollers therepast, and brackets for supporting the upper and lower tracks in operative contact with each other, each bracket including a vertical base plate and inwardly projecting supports to maintain the tracks in contact with each other at an angle slightly greater than forty-five (45) degrees with the
Abstract: A rigid windshield for a golf cart comprising two substantially identical window panes each having an upper inwardly turned edge and a lower outwardly turned edge. Removable fasteners are affixed to opposing side edges of each window pane allowing the window panes to be affixed to the vertical roof supports of the golf cart with one window pane being positioned planarly over the other such that the lower outwardly turned edge of the upper window pane mates with the upper inwardly turned edge of the lower window pane. When removed, the window panes may be stacked one on top of the other and conveniently stored underneath the roof structure of the golf cart.
Abstract: This invention relates to mercury manometers for a purge bubbler liquid level control system or the like. More particularly, this invention relates to mercury manometers comprising a mercury column with electrical contacts imbedded in the walls of the column for sensing specific liquid levels.
Abstract: A golf bag is disclosed comprising a T-shaped configuration for containing a regulation set of golf clubs and related golf accessories. A plurality of golf club compartments are positioned at the upper end of the golf bag for receiving the heads of golf clubs and causing such golf clubs to be suspended by their heads within respective golf club tubes. A cover is removably mounted about the upper portion of the golf bag to retain and protect the golf clubs during transport. A golf ball dispenser is provided for storage of golf balls.
