Abstract: Aqueous cathodic electrodeposition lacquer coating compositions are provided which comprise (A) certain water soluble synthetic resin binders containing amino groups; (B) crosslinking reagents which react with resin (A), and (C) certain soluble or insoluble transesterification catalysts for the crosslinking reagents. Methods of forming baked finish coatings which are cathodically deposited on electrically conductive surfaces using the lacquer coatings are also disclosed.

Abstract: Non-autocross-linking binder compositions for water dilutable lacquers are described which comprise components (A), 94 to 40% by weight of a water-dilutable ionic poly(meth)acrylate resin containing hydroxyl groups, (B), 1 to 10% by weight of a special copolymer to facilitate grinding, and (C), 5 to 50% by weight of a cross-linking agent. Aqeuous coating compositions containing the non-autocross-linking binder compositions and methods for using the water dilutable lacquers containing this binder compositions for cathodically or anodically coating electrically conductive objects are also described.

Abstract: A storage, display and dispensing apparatus for small regularly shaped packages is provided comprising a tray of generally box-like rectangular configuration having front, rear and side walls, the front wall being of transparent material and having a plurality of finger access notches formed therein. A partial bottom wall is provided extending forwardly from the rear wall and between the side walls to a forward edge at a point spaced rearwardly from the rear of the front wall to form a product or package removal aperture. A plurality of flexible fingers extend from the forward edge terminus of the bottom wall partially into the product removal space.

Abstract: An aqueous coating composition is provided which comprises a film forming material based on water dilutable binders which are comprised of a mixture of (A) 90 to 40% by weight of hydroxyl group-containing polymer resin; (B) 10 to 60% by weight of polyurethane dispersion and (C) pigments; as well as optionally conventional solvents, auxiliary agents, and additives. The process for the preparation of the coating composition and a method for the application of the coating composition are also described.

Abstract: Novel 7(4H)-thieno[3,2-b]pyridinones of the formula I, ##STR1## wherein R is lower alkyl, and R.sub.1 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halo, trifluoromethyl, or phenyl optionally substituted with one or two substituents selected from halo, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy and trifluoromethyl.The compounds are useful in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Pharmaceutical compositions containing the novel compounds and processes for preparing the novel compounds are also described.

Abstract: An axial oil filter including at least one pair of axially aligned filter elements includes an elongate filter body and a removable filter cartridge. The filter elements are mounted on an axial conduit which is a part of the filter cartridge, and the filter cartridge placed in the filter body so as to define upper and lower chambers, and a bypass flow path between the upper and lower chambers. Fluid to be filtered may flow into either of the chambers and will flow upward through the lower filter element and downward through the upper filter element. The filtered fluid is collected from a passage defined by a screen between the two filter elements, and passes outward from the filter through the outlet port.

Abstract: A non-autocrosslinking binder composition for water-dilutable lacquers containing 1 to 99% by weight of a hydroxyl group-containing and amino group-containing epoxide resin and 99 to 1% by weight of an amino groupcontaining synthetic resin binder prepared from free radically polymerizable monomers is described. Aqueous electrodip lacquer coatings containing this binder composition and capable of being deposited at the cathode and their use for coating articles having an electrically conductive surface at the cathode are also described.

Abstract: A non-autocrosslinking binder composition for water dilutable lacquers is described, containing from 95 to 50 parts by weight of a water dilutable poly(meth)acrylate resin containing amino and hydroxyl groups and from 5 to 50% by weight of crosslinking agents is described. An aqueous electrodip lacquer coating composition capable of being deposited at the cathode and its use for coating articles having an electrically conductive surface at the cathode are also described.

Abstract: An aqueous coating composition is described, containing, as binder, a mixture of (A) 50 to 95% by weight of a reaction product of a carboxy functional polycondensate containing epoxy groups, at least one copolymerisable o,-olefinically unsaturated monomer and conventional auxiliary agents, and (B) 50 to 5% by weight of a polyurethane dispersion, optionally together with a grinding resin. The process for the preparation of the aqueous coating compound and its use for the formation of coatings are also described.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition for oral administration comprising a mixture of ibuprofen or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and aluminium hydroxide, the amount of aluminium hydroxide being sufficient to mask the bitter taste of the ibuprofen, or the salt thereof which would be evident in the absence of aluminium hydroxide.The ratio of aluminium hydroxide (expressed as equivalent aluminium oxide) to ibuprofen may be in the range 1:50 to 5:1 parts by weight.

Abstract: Imitation cheese is made by admixing a hydrated casein curd produced by the action of a milk coagulating enzyme on a calcium salt of a milk casein with edible oil and an emulsifying agent with heating at an elevated temperature to form a homogeneous mixture. Preferably, the enzyme is rennet and heating is to above 140.degree. F. An acid is preferably added to the heated mixture with vigorously admixing under homogenizing conditions to produce a homogeneous melted and pasteurized product.

Abstract: An improved cabinet drawer locking system is provided which permits a user to lock the cabinet drawers by placing the system in the locked position after closing the drawers and/or by placing the system in the locked position and then closing the drawers. The system includes a key actuated lock and a shaft, rotatably mounted in the cabinet and connected at one end to the lock. The shaft includes an offset lever at the end opposite the end connected to the lock. This lever drives a linkage which engages a spring-biased latch bar. The latch bar co-acts with a cooperating member secured to the drawers of the cabinet to lock and unlock the drawers. In operation, the lock rotates the shaft and the offset lever; and the linkage transmits this motion to the latch bar to move the latch bar between a locked and an unlocked position.

Abstract: An improved method for treating an intervertebral spinal disc in a mammalian subject which disc exhibits an abnormal condition, characterized by a reduced risk of toxic effect to the subject is provided which comprises, injecting in said disc an amount of a pharmaceutically acceptable solution of a purified chymopapain essentially free of proteolytically inactive and/or toxic protein components, said purified chymopapain being used in an amount sufficient to selectively dissolve the nucleus pulposus of said disc.Pharmaceutical compositions are also provided for said method which include a purified proteolytically active lyophilized chymopapain, essentially free of proteolytically inactive and toxic components, and an activating amount of a pharmaceutically acceptable reducing agent.
