Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of liquid beverage containers which prevents the liquid from spilling or splashing, inhibits heat transfer, and keeps the container upright. The beverage container is designed to include a ring section having an inner concave surface to securely hold a flexible lid part. The flexible lid part which removably fits to the inner concave ring surface at the ring section of the mug includes a notch aperture on its circumference for allowing a small amount of fluid to flow through for drinking while the lid is in place and a finger pull for handling the lid part.
Abstract: The present invention is a automatic carton opening and feeding apparatus with improved breaking and supporting mechanism. It is used in the packaging industry which automatically removes a folded carton blank from a rack or magazine of such folded carton blanks and causes the carton blank to be opened while it is being transferred to a conveyor assembly. The present invention automatic carton opening and feeding apparatus utilizes a pivoted transverse member which can swing between an open position and a closed position to break open large carton blanks more effectively. The pivoted transverse member can be activated by a simple cam follower mechanism or an air cylinder, or any suitable mechanism.
Abstract: The present invention is an interlockable two-piece impression coping for anatomical dental abutment restorative systems. It includes a bolt member and a coping member having complementary intercoupling members respectively, which are disengaged when the coping member is fully fastened to the dental component by the bolt member. The present invention is also a method of attaching an impression coping to a dental component of an anatomical dental abutment restorative system for making an impression. The essential steps of the present invention method include first intercoupling the bolt member and the coping member, and then attaching the coping member to the dental component and fastening the coping member to the dental component by the bolt member, while having their complementary intercoupling members disengaged.
Abstract: The present invention is an artificial surfing reef for modifying near shore ocean floor bottom to create surfing waves. The artificial surfing reef is a generally Y-shaped structure made of many large sized polyvinyl chloride pipes and having a leading leg and two main legs joined at a joint, where the leading leg extends from the joint toward the offshore direction. As a swell moves toward the shore, its bottom is resisted by the leading leg of the artificial surfing reef, and its top topples over the joint and is tapered by the two main legs of the artificial surfing reef to thereby form perfect surfing waves.
Abstract: The present invention utilizes multiple and split pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape stratums for carrier tape packaging systems to receive, retain and release small components in automated assembly processing. A carrier tape includes many small apertures which extend through the thickness of the carrier tape. Each aperture is designed to carry a small component. The present invention utilizes a pair of parallel lengths of pressure sensitive tape which are separated by a gap to retain each component within its respective aperture.
Abstract: A train apparatus for removing thick blister buildups from an underground fiber conduit used for housing power cables. The train apparatus includes three or more cutting units including an initial, a middle and a final cutting unit having smallest, medium and largest overall cutting diameters respectively. Each cutting unit having a lead guide and six cutting stars each having four cutting blades where the cutting blades on one cutting star are offset with the cutting blades on the other cutting stars. When pulled through the fiber conduit, the lead guide of the cutting units will prevent the cutting unit from going off the center of the conduit and digging itself into the interior sidewall of the conduit. The initial, middle and final cutting units will remove respectively the surface, the intermediate and the underneath portions sequentially.
Abstract: The present invention is a fragrance bottle having a removably affixed timepiece ornament. The present invention includes a fragrance bottle having an exterior surface with a shallow depression. A mounting ring is nondetachably affixed to the fragrance bottle within the exterior depression by an adhesive agent. The timepiece is detachably attached to the mounting ring by inserting its base portion into the cavity of the mounting ring. The mounting ring has a self-contained spring member for securing the detachable engagement to the timepiece. The present invention can also be utilized on other bottles such as liquor bottles.
Abstract: The present invention is a unique multi-function multi-purposes shoe container. The present invention keeps shoes neatly separated within a large rectangular container by placing a second container within the larger container. The second container has a right compartment and a left compartment for retaining the respective one of a pair of shoes. The second container can be removed from the larger container so that the pair shoes can be retained and displayed within the second container in vertical positions.
