  • Patent number: 8272659
Abstract: A bicycle frame for employment in a bicycle for riding by a user in a substantially vertical as-used position. The frame has a shape which defines an aperture within the interior surface of a surrounding frame. The frame is preferably formed of planar material which has ends which do not block the view into the aperture when the bicycle is ridden. Whereby space for indicia on an inserted vertically disposed planar member is maximized. The planar member has a perimeter defining a shape that is complimentary to the shape of the aperture and when engaged therein provides support to the frame to prevent deformation thereof when in the as-used position under a load. The indicia positioned on the planar member may be advertising which can easily be changed using removable planar members with different indicia.

  • Patent number: 8181872
Abstract: A device and method for imaging dual sided documents for authentification of the document. A document such as a driver's license traverses a linear flowpath into and out of a housing having a darkened interior. The document is segmentally imaged under a plurality of different light spectrums during travel along the flowpath. A data processor and software engaged to an imager capturing the segmented images assembles complete images of the document under one or a plurality of the light spectrums employed to yield a viewable rendition of both sides of the document to ascertain the presence of proper indica to validate the document. Also provided are a magnetic strip reader and bar code reader engaged to the data processor wherein data may be extracted therefrom for comparison to the images reviewed.

  • Patent number: 8070622
Abstract: A golf putter providing a center mount of the hosel to the club head and a shaft engagement to the hosel at the heel end of the club head. The center mount provides the sole engagement of the hosel to the head as a gap is formed by a pathway formed through the body of the head which is larger than the circumference of the hosel in its communication therethrough. The centered engagement provides better touch to the user and feedback on striking a ball while concurrently removing the shaft from the user's line of sight to the ball and club face and reduces the twist or torque at impact with a golf ball, thereby increasing the moment of inertia.
