  • Patent number: 5873270
Abstract: A textile wet processing machine includes a processing chamber having an adjustable inner wall. The inner wall is adjustable to accommodate textile fabrics in cloth rope form having great variations in weight, texture, thickness, flexibility and load. The inner wall may be positioned at any position between a predetermined innermost position and a predetermined outermost position relative to the outer wall of the processing chamber. In a preferred embodiment, adjustment is accomplished by a pinion that is linearly movable on a rack. A connecting rod extends outwardly from the pinion. One end of the connecting rod is rotatably secured to the transverse shaft of the pinion and the other end of the connecting rod is secured to the inner wall. In an alternative embodiment, adjustment is accomplished by a linkage assembly that is rotatable about a transverse shaft.

  • Patent number: 5839871
Abstract: A double-pallet parking garage for automobiles is disclosed. A ground pallet is carried on a pair of parallel base frames to be horizontally movable between the entrance and parking positions thereof. Guide and support columns stand on both ends of each base frame. The liftable pallet moves between the entrance and parking positions thereof in accordance with the turning motion of a pair of turning links. The liftable pallet is movably held by the upper ends of the turning links and moves between the entrance and parking positions while remaining horizontal. The liftable pallet moves vertically under the guide of the guide column and moves along an arcuate trace under the guide of an arcuate guide beam. The double-pallet parking garage of this invention does not cause any interference between the liftable and ground pallets during movement of the pallets.

  • Patent number: 5806120
Abstract: A system for treating laundry with ozone including a controller that receives a load signal based on a wash load selection. The controller varies an output potential from a variable power supply to an ozone generator in response to the load signal. The ozone generator produces different levels of ozone corresponding to the output potential. A wash liquor is drawn out of a laundry machine and sent through a filter past an injector adjacent a venturi. The injector entrains ozone from the ozone generator into the wash liquor and the wash liquor is returned to the laundry machine.

  • Patent number: 5807422
Abstract: A pre-compression dehydration system optimizes the gas flow parameters which are essential to the performance of a radial or spherical desiccant dryer. When used in conjunction with a low pressure dryer, the system protects the desiccant bed from channeling, which can cause the gas to flow unevenly through the desiccant bed and fail to make effective contact with the desiccant. The system provides a multiple zone, or divided, desiccant bed adsorption unit to maintain a proper flow distribution as required by the demand of the air compressor and to eliminate the potential for channeling. The system may also include a controller for automatically opening and closing the port access doors of the adsorption unit to control the amount of desiccant utilized to dry the air. A thermostatically controlled precooler may be provided for cooling the ambient air prior to adsorption to insure that the temperature of the effluent air will not exceed 100.degree. F. (37.8.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5807025
Abstract: A method of lining a sewer in which an inner pipe is introduced into an eting sewer, and the space between the outer surface of the inner pipe and the inner surface of the sewer is filled with a filler. To introduce the filler into the space, at least one supply duct which preferably is provided with a delivery nozzle is introduced into the sewer until the at least one supply duct extends over the entire longitudinal length of the inner pipe. Subsequently, the at least one supply duct is removed by a withdrawal movement. During the removal of the at least one supply duct, the filler is delivered into the space through the duct or through the delivery nozzle preferably provided on the duct in an amount sufficient to completely fill the space.
