The pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprises a random copolymer of isobutylene and paramethylstyrene, and a tackifier, wherein said random copolymer contains 1 to 20% by weight of said paramethylstyrene and has a cross-linked structure. The adhesive composition is particularly useful in forming weather-strip tapes.

A series of first distances are defined between the input aperture to points along the output aperture. A die portion is included in the extrusion device. The die portion has a laminate chamber having a height dimension. The height dimension of the laminate is disposed generally perpendicular to the length dimension of the first chambers. An output is disposed at one end of the height dimension. The laminate chamber is disposed so as to be in communication with the output apertures of the parallel first chambers.

    Abstract: A spray gun has a fluid reservoir that contains a removable liner. The liner, which may be thermo/vacuum-formed from a plastics material, is a close fit within the interior of the reservoir and collapses as fluid is withdrawn from within the liner during operation of the gun. Preferably, the liner has a comparatively-rigid base and is capable of standing, unsupported, outside the reservoir. The side walls of the liner are preferably thin in comparison to the base and can be collapsed for disposal of the liner. The reservoir has a removable lid and is capable of standing, inverted, on its own so that it can be filled with fluid. The lid also functions to secure the liner in the reservoir and, at the end of a spraying operation, the lid and the liner are removed together from the reservoir and discarded, thereby simplifying the cleaning of the spray gun.

Alternative embodiments include heating the molding surface or resin composition, or both, to aid in the flow of the resin composition. The advantage of this process is that is that the microstructured composite articles are able to be produced at high speed and are free of air bubbles.

Such differential dosage allows for modification of an article comprising a coating composition that can be modified by electron beam irradiation on a substrate that is vulnerable to degradation from electron beam radiation. A method of irradiating an article with electron beams, and products manufactured using the apparatus and method of the invention, are also disclosed.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a way of managing databases when updating records in a local database where individual records in a source database are changed on a regular basis, but each record maintains a consistent unique record identifier. The first time a reviewer reviews a record resulting from a search, the reviewer accepts or rejects the record. If the record reappears in future additions to the database, e.g., as a result of an update to the record, rejected records will be filtered before ever reaching the reviewer. Previously reviewed and accepted records can either be sent directly to a local database (again by-passing the reviewer) or forwarded to the reviewer if a significant field has been updated. In this manner the reviewer always sees brand new records, but avoids seeing updated versions of previously reviewed records unless some portion of the data has been updated which the reviewer considers significant. Local database users see only a single, fully updated version of each record.
