Abstract: New elevator cab construction and reconstruction of old elevator cabs are frequently presented with the problem of increasing the interior size of the elevator cab in an elevator shaft of limited size. This invention relates to an elevator cab design providing a novel way of increasing internal cab size of a standard elevator cab while still retaining decorative design features by having removable decorative panels. The elevator cab is constructed of the normal elements, namely, a platform, a ceiling, cab shell walls, stiffeners and corner stiffener risers. The cab shell walls have a base and transom and shell panels there between designed to overlap one another so as to be readily attached by spot welding or adhesive. The stiffeners are hat-shaped elongated sections typically of stainless steel that are attached to the inside of the shell panels. The stiffeners may also be formed by hat-shaped ribs formed in the shell panels.

Abstract: An apparatus for the manufacture of a thermoplastic blown film is provided having a blower head for extruding a film tube of a thermoplastic material. An annular ring is provided for blowing a cooling gas on an outside surface of the film tube to solidify the film tube. This cooling gas is directed in a flow direction parallel to a wall of the film tube. The cooling gas is drawn off the tube by means of a suction ring positioned around the tube prior to flattening the tube to form a film tube.
Abstract: A teething holder for use with a child's teething item, and more particularly a teething device having a flexible and elastic loop, a lock for releaseably locking the loop around a teething object, such as a biscuit, and an attachment element, for attaching the teething device, such as to a baby's bib or chair.
Abstract: A bib having an apron, a pocket, a waist strap, and a hip strap. The bib is especially useful for young children who may be uncomfortable wearing neck-type bibs.
Abstract: A confluence calendar system and method is provided having a user platform with a user calendar having a number of events of importance to the user. Each of the user events can include date information, location information, and other event detail information. In addition, a serendipity server is provided for generating serendipitous events, based on information received from the user and third parties. The serendipity server sends the serendipitous events to the user for viewing, and for adding the serendipitous event to the user's calendar.
Abstract: An integrated web browser, instant messaging system is presented. The system operates on mobile devices and other types of embedded devices. The system is an integrated instant messaging and web browsing application controlled by an embedded application on a mobile device. Today most web browsers, instant messaging, and other programs are separate or discrete applications that are executed on an either/or type of situation. The present system provides an integrated application environment that is a single application that shares data between instant messaging and web broswer sub-modules, which allows users to simultaneously message and browse. The system may also be deployed as part of an overall method for enhancing safety and producing revenue for communications networks.
