Abstract: A multiple object speed tracking system that can provide data related to the rate of travel of each object in a set of multiple objects as each object is traveling either toward or away from a predetermined point.
Abstract: A percussion instrument carrier system for carrying percussion instruments by members of a marching band. A preferred embodiment of the percussion instrument carrier system includes an interlock mechanism that provides for one of either mounting the percussion instrument onto the percussion instrument carrier or dismounting the percussion instrument from the percussion instrument carrier by only the manipulation of the percussion instrument in relation to the percussion instrument carrier as needed to respectively and operatively engage or disengage components of the interlock mounting system.
Abstract: A protective glove is disclosed that provides a user with protection against radial luxation or subluxation of the user's thumb during activities in which the user's thumb can be subjected to forces that may dislocate the thumb in relation to the hand. In one preferred embodiment, the protective glove is a ski glove that includes a bracing element to prevent injurious movement of a snow skier's thumb when a ski pole used by the skier forcefully reacts to movement of the ski pole as the pole is inserted or dragged within the snow upon which the skier is skiing. In other embodiments, the present invention may also be utilized by as user participating in activities such a skiing, rodeos, football, hockey, polo, baseball, and lacrosse.
Abstract: A golf tee stopper having a center aperture of material and design so as to slide over a golf tee while creating enough friction with the tee to act as a stop against the ground when teeing a golf ball using the method as described herein and providing the capability to repeatedly insert a golf tee to essentially the same depth to thereby allow the golf tee to hold a golf ball at a height preferred by a user. A set of calibration indicia on the golf tee stopper can be used to mark a golf tee in a manner that assists in the repeatable placement of the golf tee at a substantially consistent height.
Abstract: A protective cup designed to protect the male genitalia from damage or injury that could result from blows to the pelvic area of a male wherein the protective cup is manufactured using a very high strength ballistic material for the primary protective cup structure and wherein the interior of the protective cup includes a resilient gel that provides additional cushioning to the male genitalia if the protective cup is subjected to heavy strikes from external sources.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable framing fixture for fabricating wall frames. Pneumatically controlled clamping mechanisms retain and locate various components of a frame wall. Spring loaded locator pins allow for variations in openings in the frame wall and allow for various frame wall designs. An offloading system allows for removal of completed frame walls from the portable framing fixture. The portable framing fixture is mounted onto a wheeled axle assembly to allow for easy transportation of the portable framing fixture to different job sites.
Abstract: A computer input device is described as being in the general form of a computer mouse with standard computer mouse functions in addition to having the capability of allowing the user of the computer input device to access a vendor's Internet web page, domain name, or URL address by actuating a switch on the computer mouse. The a vendor's Internet web page, domain name, or URL address may be preprogrammed into a computer ship in the computer mouse. In other embodiments of the computer input device, the form and shape of the computer input device relate in some way the vendor's products of services. The Internet web page, domain name, or URL address may be controlled and maintained by the vendor or by an intermediate advertising service such that different information about the vendor's products or services may be provide to the user of the computer input device.
Abstract: The invention is an adjustable cymbal device that is mountable onto a standard hi-hat cymbal. The adjustable cymbal device operatively connects a primary actuator rod connected to the foot pedal on the standard hi-hat cymbal stand to a secondary actuator rod upon which a set of cymbals has been mounted. To allow for adjustment of the adjustable cymbal device in relation to the standard hi-hat stand and to the desired playing position of a percussionist, the adjustable cymbal device provides the ability to adjust the length of travel of the upper cymbal, the tilt and offset of the adjustable cymbal device, the rotational angle of the adjustable cymbal device, and the tilt between the lower cymbal relative to the upper cymbal.
Abstract: A property entrance and exit notification, inventory control system of the present invention automates the documentation of entry time, exit time and position of personnel entering, equipment, tools and vehicles exiting and movement throughout the property. Being logged into the system identifies time of entry onto the property and time of exit off the property. Logging in with an identification card into the system is identified and activated by one of the following; “RFID” Radio Frequency Identification, “SAW” Surface Acoustic Wave, Barcode or “GPS” Global Positioning System. Furthermore at time of entry login, GPS Responders are activated to monitor location of personnel on the property. At time of exit off the property the GPS Responders are deactivated.
Abstract: An apparatus and method of bundling bulk items, such as for example papers and magazines, that includes applying a double-sided label to the top and bottom of the material stack, compressing the material stack, applying two binding materials around the material stack, and then relieving the compression on the material stack to allow the binding material to maintain the compression on the bundled material. The binding material, including the double-sided label, can be automatically removed from the bundled material by removing the binding material from the stack of materials and vacuuming the binding material away from the stacked material.
