  • Patent number: 4828284
Abstract: A multi-wheeled vehicle powered via a twin treadle-acting drive train. An upright front steering assembly including a pair of tie rod coupled front wheels and steering bar-mounted gear shift and hand brake assemblies facilitate operator control of a chain-driven rear wheel. The drive train incudes left and right treadles which, via an interconnected chain and crossover sprockets, drive a rear wheel housing supported stub shaft having a pair of end-mounted, over-running sprocketed clutches, a drive sprocket and a non-reversing clutch. A derailleur-controlled drive chain transfers power from the drive sprocket to the rear wheel.

  • Patent number: 4805336
Abstract: Ice fishing apparatus adaptable for use in either an attended or unattended fashion and including a reel mounted strike/line feed indicator for real time displaying a fish strike condition. The apparatus comprises a relatively stiff rod section mounted to a reel containing handle section. A drag assembly mounted to the handle and contacting the circumferential edge of the reel provides adjustable line tensioning. A high visibility strike indicator detachably mounts to the face of the reel and overlaps the reel face, whereby the angler is able at a distance to observe movement of the indicator, with the removal of line from the reel. When used in an unattended fashion, a hole cover and associated rod support means maintain the rod in upright relation to the hole for maximum visibility.

  • Patent number: 4785422
Abstract: An alpha particle resistant memory cell and array with complementary, differential data in, data out and write enable inputs capable of independent, simultaneous read/write operations. During write operations, clocked differential write and data inputs steer cell current to induce differential cell voltages indicative of the stored data. During read operations, a read select input shifts the voltage levels of the selected cell to produce a distinguishable output which dominates over the other cells to appropriately steer current at a sense amplifier to identify the binary cell contents. A 64 row by 12 bit register stack, with split word write, master reset and read enable is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4769017
Abstract: An elastomeric member having one or more preformed, self-sealing slits and which and dilate at predetermined pressures to form a fluid flow path. In an undilated condition, reverse flow is prevented. In various embodiments, an elastomeric infusion manifold is disclosed having a plurality of self-sealing slits formed therein relative to either a center lumen, a center slit or in independent relation to one another. Individual, hole mounting, fingered compression-type clamps permit a one-handed connection to the manifold. In other embodiments, catheters are disclosed having lengthwise co-extensive self-sealing, flow channels, comprising slit containing core members, integral slit containing solid portions or solid core members mounted within the catheter lumen such that flow occurs in the space between the core and the catheter walls. Conventional leur lock connectors or compression-type clamp connectors are useable therewith.
