Abstract: Nasal dilators and strips, methods of their manufacture, and methods for improving the breathing of individuals are provided. The strips and dilators include an elongated substrate, with or without a dilating component or portion, having top and bottom surfaces and a pressure-sensitive adhesive disposed on the bottom surface. The dilator is designed to provide a gentle expanding force to the nasal wall tissue when the dilator is adhesively attached to the nose. This invention further includes a cosmetic fragrance, an aromatic medication and/or transdermal medication disposed on the strips or dilators. In order to improve the shelf-life and in-use olfactory effectiveness of such products, fragrance delivery mechanisms are used. Separation of volatile oils and adhesives are also provided to minimize adhesive residue.

Abstract: A circuit board assembly includes an integrated circuit package. A first substrate has first and second surfaces. Each surface of the first substrate has a plurality of terminal pads. An integrated circuit device has first and second faces. The first face has a plurality of electrical interconnections to the terminal pads in the first surface of the first substrate. A heatspreader plate has a plurality of legs. For example, the heatspreader may be shaped like a table with four legs. The heatspreader may be formed of copper. The second face of the integrated circuit device is connected to the heatspreader plate by a first thermal interface material. Each of the plurality of legs is connected to the first surface of the first substrate by a second thermal interface material. The first and second thermal interface materials may both be, for example, a conductive silver-filled epoxy. The heatspreader provides an open package that is easily cleaned and drained.

Abstract: The composite fabric comprises a load-carrying grid disposed between cloth and a flexible layer that are held to each other, the load-carrying grid which is at least two-directional being made up at least of warp thread and weft thread which are held to one another, the mesh defined by the grid having openings of area greater than the area of the gaps defined by the texture of the decorative cloth, the decorative cloth being held directly to the flexible sheet through the mesh of the load-carrying grid such that the fabric prevents outer ribs due to the thickness of the weft threads.

Abstract: A portable rebound net using a tension adjustable elastic net material lashed to a frame structure is provided. Adjusting the tension of the elastic netting material allows the user to alter the return speed of a ball hit against the rebound net.
