  • Patent number: 6887374
Abstract: A collapsible water treatment digester includes a flexible bladder, a frame, and a plurality of filter plates. The flexible bladder is movable from a collapsed position wherein the bladder is folded into a substantially flattened state to an expanded position wherein the bladder forms a water treatment chamber. The frame is connected to the bladder so as to support the bladder in the expanded position. The filter plates are disposed within the water treatment chamber of the bladder so as to cause a substantial portion of the solids from a wastewater stream introduced into the water treatment chamber to produce a reconditioned water stream dischargeable from the bladder.

  • Patent number: 6877272
Abstract: A method for delivering a pesticide adjacent a foundation of a structure is provided. The method includes injecting the pesticide into a tubular conduit positioned proximate to the foundation of the structure. The pesticide is injected into the tubular conduit at a rate such that the internal pressure of the tubular conduit remains below a threshold pressure of the tubular conduit until the tubular conduit is substantially filled with the pesticide thereby preventing the pesticide from being discharged through pores of the tubular conduit as the tubular conduit is being filled with the pesticide.

  • Patent number: 6873340
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an automated reference indicator system. In one embodiment, the present invention provides a first reference indicator patch disposed near an area of interest, such as a wound, on an object, such as a human. A first image depicting the area of interest and the first reference indicator patch is captured and then input into a computer apparatus. A first set of data regarding the area of interest is then calculated by the computer apparatus based on an analysis of the first reference indicator patch and the area of interest. A second image of the area of interest and a second reference indicator patch disposed on at least a portion of the object is captured and subsequently input into the computer apparatus. The second image is typically taken at a time different from when the first image was taken. For example, the second image could be captured two weeks after the first image was captured.
