  • Patent number: 6079111
Abstract: A sight apparatus for an archery bow which compensates for both the distance to a target and the elevation of the target. The sight apparatus includes a range finder mechanism and a pendulous sight. The range mechanism and the pendulous sight are operatively connected such that the setting for the range to a target positions the pendulous axis. The pendulous sight has a sight element which is suspended from the corresponding pendulous axis to provide a point of aim at the target. The range mechanism includes an adjustment arm which is pivotable to a known or estimated distance. The range mechanism also includes a pair of bracketing pins wherein one of the bracketing pins is movable relative to the other bracketing pin along an arc shaped travel path for bracketing the target and providing a range setting determined from the size of the target.

  • Patent number: 6076811
Abstract: A water charging machine wherein the water being treated is moved downwardly through a vertically extending outer vortex and then moved in an upwardly extending inner vortex within the outer vortex. Oxygen may be introduced into the stream of water either upstream of the outer vortex or at the point of reversal of the water between the outer vortex and the inner vortex, or both, to provide a long shelf life incorporation of the gaseous oxygen in the water. The water and oxygen may also be exposed to a negative or positive magnetic field and a piezoelectric field to provide a substantial Zeta potential.

  • Patent number: 6076071
Abstract: An automated product pricing system including a physical store system, a virtual store system, and a control system. The physical and virtual store systems are capable of transmitting sales data indicative of the number of sales of identified respective products. The control system is adapted to receive the sales data from the physical store system and the virtual store system. In response thereto, the control system generates price change data including a changed price of an identified product based on the sales data received from at least one of the physical and virtual store systems. The price change data is then transmitted by the control system to at least one of the physical and virtual store systems to thereby change the price of the identified product.

Abstract: A particulate support matrix, and a dosage form made therefrom, and processes for making such support matrices and dosage forms, which disintegrate or dissolve in a matter of just a few seconds once placed into an aqueous environment. First, a porous particulate powder matrix which will serve as the dosage form matrix is produced. In a second step, the pharmaceutical, for example an antihistamine, decongestant, or antibiotic is combined with the powder. Other additives may also be added to the mixture. In a third step the mixture is formed into a dosage form. Finally, in a fourth step, a coating may be formed upon the outer surface of the dosage form to enhance the intactness and durability of the dosage form.
