Abstract: An adjusting device for a sensor unit mounted on a field machine, or a harvester or tractor, and an associated method for positioning the field machine and sensor unit for locating a working edge of a field. The sensor unit can be mounted on a cutter bar assembly of a field machine via a supporting arm. The sensor unit may be adjusted horizontally or vertically. The sensor produces a signal that is communicated to a steering control unit to guide the field machine along the working edge of the field. The position or alignment of the sensor unit relative to a working edge of the field may be indicated on a two-dimensional display.
Abstract: A heavy load transport vehicle which has the ability of transforming from a flat-bed trailer into a multiple-automobile transporter, having a hydraulic-powered retractable upper deck; hydraulic-powered lift arms that are designed to allow the vehicle to transport wide loads and to be loaded from the side of the lower deck; a stabilizer system which minimizes or eliminates lateral movement of the vehicle during operation on the road; a truss assembly that is designed to synchronize the action of the hydraulic-powered lift arms; and a cable pulley system which assists in the raising of the front end of the upper deck.
Abstract: A device for actuating the clutch of a twine wrap device in a big square baler for harvested crops has a pawl attached to the clutch, a shift lever pivotable into the orbit of the pawl, a control device for the shift lever, and an electric motor which is drive-connected with the control device for the shift lever. The electric motor may be connected via an electric circuit with a device for determining the bale length.
