Abstract: The invention discloses an anchor screw (10) to the palatal vault for orthodontic correction treatments comprising: a lower threaded portion (1) adapted to be screwed to the bone; a substantially cylindrical central portion (2) protruding from the bone and the gum adapted to allow anchorage of traction and/or thrust orthodontic devices; an upper portion (3) provided with movement means (4) to screw and unscrew the screw. Abstract: A vehicle seat having an adjustable side bolster includes a seat frame, a first plate, a second plate, a living hinge and a displacement mechanism. The first plate is fixed to the seat frame. The second plate is pivotably mounted to the first plate. The living hinge resiliently connects the first plate and the second plate. A displacement mechanism is disposed between the first plate and the second plate, selectively moving the second plate relative to the first plate between the first position and the second position. The living hinge provides a spring force tending to return the second plate to one of the first position and the second position.

Abstract: A retaining cap for the shaft of a differential gear assembly retains the pinion gear without support from a case structure. The retaining cap is self-supported, and may be retained on a single shaft by a weld, a force fit arrangement, or by a rivet. The retaining cap is capable of retaining the pinion gear under high loads, and simplifies the differential assembly by allowing construction without the case structure.

Abstract: A method and system is disclosed for adding chlorine to a water supply system to kill bacteria, and in particular, Legionella bacteria. A corrosion inhibitor additive is added with the chlorine, to ensure that corrosion or other damage to the pipes does not occur. A method is disclosed for initially setting up proper levels of chlorine and corrosion inhibitor, and maintaining those levels. Systems for adding the materials to the hot water supply system are disclosed to ensure that they are adequately and thoroughly mixed into the water.

Abstract: In combination, a guide post having a longitudinal slot and a ball bearing cage adjustably receiving the post and adapted for relative longitudinal and rotary movements, there being an internal annular recess in said cage inwardly of one end. A truncated roller bearing with opposed hemispherical surfaces and opposed flat sides is guidably positioned within the slot with the roller bearing maintaining a rolling point contact with the bottom wall of the slot and with the roller flat sides loosely and slidably registerable with the side walls of the slot. One of the hemispherical surfaces of the bearing being positioned and retained within an internal annular recess within the ball cage. A fastener within the profile of the guide post adjacent one end of the longitudinal slot traps the roller within the longitudinal slot and ball cage.
