    Abstract: The invention is directed to a boatless water skiing tow system and a unique traction apparatus for use therein. The traction apparatus comprises a plurality of cable loops connected end to end to form an endless sequence giving the semblance of a dual cable traction device without the disadvantages of such a traction device. Apparatus is provided for equalizing the action of forces applied to the upper and lower arms of the various loops.

    Abstract: A belt-supported backpack adapted to provide ready access and replacement of bottles or other containers for liquid. An elongated flexible belt has a plurality of open topped and open bottomed flexible pockets affixed thereto. Means are provided for supporting bottles or other objects carried in these pockets. The center section of the belt is relatively wide and rectangular and merges into tapered sections. The tapered and rectangular sections of the belt are preferably formed of two panels affixed in mirror image. A zipper opening is provided to the rectangular flat compartment formed between the panels. A plurality of small ties or straps are provided within this compartment for tying items to the backpack when the zipper is open.

    Abstract: The thermostatically controlled valve is of a type wherein the flow of fluid is increased when the temperature of the fluid is in a low to medium range and decreased as the temperature of the fluid exceeds a desired range. In a preferred embodiment, it makes use of a poppet valve assembly. It is particularly useful to control the temperature at which vaporization occurs in a liquid propane vaporizer utilized in the fuel system of an internal combustion engine.
