Abstract: A process for the preparation of toner compositions which comprises mixing at least one resin monomer with a polymerization initiator, a crosslinking component and a chain transfer component; effecting bulk polymerization until partial polymerization to near the onset of the gel-effect has been accomplished thereby forming an organic phase containing a partially polymerized component; mixing the aforementioned partially polymerized component organic phase with pigment or dye particles; dispersing the resulting organic phase in water containing a stabilizing component whereby there is obtained a suspension of toner particles in water; and polymerizing the toner suspension by heating.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of copper oxide superconductors which comprises (1) mixing copper nitride, an oxidizing agent such as barium peroxide, and yttrium oxide; (2) forming pellets of the aforementioned mixture; (3) heating the pellets; and (4) thereafter cooling the pellets. The process yields copper oxide superconducting compounds in a purity of from about 60 to over 95 percent.
