Abstract: Dental drill handpiece having a disposable filter cartridge for cleaning drive air, water, chip air, and exhaust passing through the handpiece.
Abstract: A head suitable for use on any weed cutter, regardless of whether it has a left-hand or right-hand threaded shaft. The head includes, in order from top to bottom, an arbor enclosing an elongated hexagonal nut with internal threads to engage the shaft of a weed cutter, a line holding plate, two cutting lines, a tension plate, a tightening knob and a bolt held by the knob and threaded into the hexagonal nut.
Abstract: An electric pancake and egg cooker having two spaced cooking surfaces, the pancake and egg cooker having a cooking dish clamped in a pivotable cooking dish ring adapted to rest on the first cooking surface, and a cooking dish cover adapted to rest on the second cooking surface, the dish, ring, and cover being pivotable around a common axis shaft, and a catch means adapted to prevent the ring and dish from being pivoted until the cover is closed on the dish.
Abstract: A dance floor of assemblable square sections that are held together magnetically and are aligned by male/female couplers and ramp members attachable to the outer perimeter of the assembled square sections.
Abstract: A safety razor having a head that illuminates the area to be shaved. The razor has an internal hollow filled with bundles of optical fiber leading from a source of light within the razor handle to windows directed to the area adjacent the razor blade.
Abstract: Process for the preparation of a moncyclic monoterpene having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R=--C.dbd.CH.sub.2 or --CH--CH.sub.3. which comprises treating limonene in a liquid reaction medium with a strong base followed by addition to the medium of a boron-containing reagent to produce a limonenyl adduct. The adduct is cleaved with an oxidizing agent, diluted with water and an organic solvent to produce a two-phase mixture. The monoterpene is recovered from the organic phase.

Abstract: A hollow tubular mouthpiece that is clampable between the front teeth of a patient that is to receive a medical instrument through the mouth and into the esophagus. The mouthpiece has two spaced flanges to fit over the outside of the lips on the proximal end of the mouthpiece and behind the front teeth on the distal end of the mouthpiece with the intermediate space to be clamped between the biting front teeth. A central hollow passageway permits the instrument to be inserted. A lower curved tongue plate extends inwardly and downwardly to depress the patients tongue and to guide the forward end of the instrument.
Abstract: An electric pancake maker having a liquid batter container that is thermally protected; a metering pump system arranged to dispense separate, equal portions of batter simultaneously onto a first cooking surface assembly including a plurality of concave cooking dishes; a heated smooth faced second cooking surface assembly; a mainshaft arrangement connecting both cooking surface assemblies; and means to pivot those surfaces through half circle travel about the mainshaft to flip partially cooked pancakes from one surface to the other, and ultimately discharge fully cooked pancakes in an automated manner.
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of a pop top mechanism of a disposable beverage container which includes a lance in the pop top lever which can be pressed downwardly to penetrate the top of the container allowing a refrigerant inside the container to be released into the atmosphere thereby cooling the contents of the container by evaporation of the refrigerant coolant.
Abstract: A hand tool adapted to guide a rubber hose being wound on a reel, the tool being T-shaped with the cross bar as a handle and the stem having at its distal end a helix designed to be easily connected to the hose such that the hose runs lengthwise along the axis of the helix.
Abstract: A system for draining and filling oil reservoirs in the crankcases and the generators of marine vessels with at least one or two diesel engines, including a motor driven pump, conduits connecting the pump to the reservoirs of the generator and of each engine and with the fuel tanks, an oil sump of fresh oil, and selector valves to connect the conduits to the pump in a variety of combinations; one of which extracts used oil from the reservoirs and forces same through a filter/blender while receiving diesel fuel from a tank on board the vessel and returns the mixed used oil and fuel to the tank for subsequent combustion by the engine; a second of which provides fresh oil to the reservoirs; and a third of which provides diesel fuel to the tanks.
Abstract: Mobile elevatable platform devices are fitted with an impact absorbing bumper, a truck restraining hook mechanism, and, optionally, a ground anchor.
