Abstract: An improved foodstuffs container configured to be readily received with a cup holder having a relatively standard size recess such as that commonly provided in armrests of many theater chairs so as to hold the container while the patron is not eating or optionally, drinking from the cup is disclosed. The container includes a walled tray structure supported by a contiguous container base sized and shaped to be supported within the standard cup holder. The walled tray structure may be configured with a planar or other shaped bottom, with or without partitions to received the desired foodstuffs either in volume or in discretely separated portions. The container base has an interior recess contiguous with the volume of the walled tray structure to receive and support additional foodstuffs readily accessed from above.
Abstract: A golf club includes a head having a golf ball retriever integrated into the head. The retriever comprises a substantially vertical and substantially frusto conical passage (or throat) radially enclosed in the bottom the head. Because variations exist in regulation golf ball size and exterior, the diameter and taper of the throat is selected to be suitable for a variety of golf balls. A release hole extends though the head from the throat to a top surface of the head, and allows easy ejection of a ball from the throat. The head further includes aligning (or aiming) marks on opposite sides of the release hole to facilitate aligning the head for a stroke.
Abstract: A light fixture includes an adjustable shutter to illuminate a desired area. The fixture resides substantially behind a room surface (e.g., a ceiling) and includes a fixed portion residing on and behind the surface, and a movable portion which is extendable from the surface for adjustment of the shutter. A tilting member rotates in a rotating member to allow two axis of adjustment. A light bulb mounts in the tilting member, and light from the bulb is reflected by a mirror or prism to provide a compact fixture. A four part shutter is imposed between the bulb and the mirror or prism to adjust the shape and area which is illuminated.
