Abstract: A disposable self-inflatable rescue mask for ventilation CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) comprising a transparent, flexible form-retaining plastic dome-shaped foldable portion having around its peripheral edge an inflatable bladder provided wtih a built-in self-sealing air valve, which allows the ambient air to flow into the inflatable bladder and self-seals the air in the self-inflated mask which retains its shape firmly, said bladder being shaped to fit around the nose and mouth areas, and effectively seal against the patient's face; and a blow-in tube disposed in an opening at the apex of the dome is provided with a mouthpiece for delivery of expired air to the patient. The mask is packaged in a carrying case comprising two similar parts to form a container which is shaped to receive said deflated mask in a flattened and folded state, and sealed with a closure means.
Abstract: A walker provided with a nonremovable flexible material seat of sufficient slack for comfortable sitting, suspended from a pair of upper level horizontal brace members on parallel opposite sides of the walker frame, by directly attaching a rectangular piece of strong flexible material onto said pair of oppositely positioned horizontal brace members.
Abstract: Novel thin flexible decorative colored cementitious veneers of about 5 to 60 mils in thickness, useful in wall coverings, floor coverings and on ceilings; and methods of producing said thin decorative cementitious veneers wherein printing, embossing and casting are performed simultaneously. The basic method comprises the steps of placing a wet cloth on a mold engraved with a design followed by placing a plastic cement mix on said wet cloth to simultaneously form a casting and a temporary cloth mold which is the exact copy of the original mold, immediately removing the plastic cement casting together with the temporary cloth mold from the original engraved mold before it sets, thereby making the original mold immediately available for the next casting, removing the temporary cloth mold from said plastic cement casting before it sets, and air curing said casting while being stored.
Abstract: A traveling case for artist brushes which maintains said brushes, each in a separable, readily accessible, upright position, comprising an elongated rectangular container provided with a hinged door and an internal integral horizontal U-shaped rib, which functions as a stop guide for a separable two-tier brush holder slidably received within said container and maintained in a stationery position by the coaction of the upper tier of said brush holder and said rib, said two-tier brush holder being provided with a centrally located longitudinal rod which terminates in a carrying means and extending from said tiers to above the top of said container and adapted to slide into a partial slot on the top wall of said elongated container, said tiers being additionally provided with multiple openings to receive individual brushes.
Abstract: A rim guard and extension device for disposal on and engagement with the rim of an open container comprising a tubular member provided at its lower end with an annular flange consisting of a vertical internal member for insertion into the container, a horizontal bridge member, a vertical external member for engagement with the bead on the outside of the container; and an upstanding flange extending from the outer edge of the annular flange which forms a catch basin therewith.
